There has been some concern about what exactly is tactless vulgarity. As always the ToS apply to my guild, and I will enforce it. With that being said, here are some general ground rules to live by:
1: swearing directly to another user to hurt them mentally is a bannable offense.
2: excessive vulgarity in any artwork that does not serve a purpose is a warnable offense. If your poetry is nothing more than the same four letter word over and over again, might not want to post it here.
3: cursing just to curse is warnable
4: I, along with any other Mod here, will have the final say as to wether something is offensive or not. Please do not argue, unless you have a really really rock solid point about it.
5: We wish to ensure everyones enjoyment in the guild, please do not infringe on others rights verbally, that will be dealt with accordingly depending on the severity
now, a couple other things that you must remember,

some pieces really do call for that extra umph, but make sure it really is site appropriate before posting it. It is an artists right to express themselves, just don't force that expression on everyone. I have read many a good play with cursing in them, and I never thought less of the artist.
If you really do not wish to read foul language on Gaia, there is a setting that can bleep out any known curse word that is typed. I would suggest enabling it.
