 Naruto And Hinata Things to discuss: What do you like and not like about this couple?

What do you like and not like about this couple?
What I like about this couple:
Well, in the beginning, she was the only girl in his class that didn't hate him, and she was inspired by Naruto.
What I don't like about this couple:
This paring is a bit too shallow. As in, Naruto sees her as a friend. Not even a 'close' friend, but a friend, nonetheless. She admires him alot, but that's the only thing that has been driving her to do her best, not love. When fighting with Neji, or when she helped Naruto feel better, it was because she admired him. In the name of love, she barely did anything, and same goes with Naruto. When it comes down to love, she's technically a shy fangirl. Sakura was just an energetic fangirl. But they were both fangirls to start. Also, if Hinata confessed, Naruto can't suddenly forget about Sakura and Sasuke and just go with her.

Naruto did a blood vow.....and you dont call that 'close'??? Naruto would just go with her because it was sombody who cared about him.... What I like -Hinata does not just look up to Naruto...And she was the only girl to notice him. Heck, she might've been ONE of the first to notice him...but being the shy girl she is, I doubt she could bring up the courage to talk to him. Also, I'd love it for Naruto notice this, Notice that there was someone who he doesn't have to impress because she already loves him just for who he is. -Naruto has never experienced true love(He's experienced platonic by Iruka,Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke) and who else other than Hinata to fill that love? He made a blood vow with her! Who does that? -It would complete Hinata's theme(Which for those of you who don't know, "Believing in yourself and Change") and it was triggered by Naruto, so most likely it will be ended by him. -I can't see Hinata falling in love with anyone else...And if Naruto DID fall in love with someone else...Imagine how depressed Hinata would be. -It's the ONLY pairing with Hinata in it that accounts her love! -There are a lot of arguments that say Hinata and Naruto are too different..Therefore it would never happen. Do you ever recall a time where Naruto is overly hyperactive like he is with Sakura and Sasuke when he is alone with Hinata? Before the Neji vs Naruto fight they have a sweet little moment alone together...And Naruto doesn't go, "I'm awesome!" Well, he tries to but... He takes off his mask and tells Hinata he is a screw-up. Hinata is not a weakling and doesn't agree with Naruto on that. She instantly, disagrees and calls him a proud failure. Naruto suddenly gets all cheered up and says he likes people LIKE her. Saying, he doesn't just like her because they strive for the same thing...He likes her for who she is. Which, is opposite of him. -Also on Chapter 297 Hinata is there part 2 looking up to the sun. And on the quote on the side it says, "Guided by the Golden Light, she now steps into the sun!" Well, before Naruto leaves to the Neji vs Naruto fight he is surrounded by a golden light...Hinata DOES look up to him...But she has stronger feelings than that. -I would hate it for Naruto never to notice Hinata...When all Hinata wants is acceptance by everyone. ESPECIALLY Naruto. -As in opposites again. Personality wise, yes they are very opposite. BUT, they both strive the same thing:ACCEPTANCE. And, they both have felt the same pain and hate. Now, Hinata's feeling of pain wasn't nearly on the same level of Naruto's but she felt the same TYPE of pain. Naruto eventually had a 'family' to help him get through that...but Hinata is still struggling...No one came to pick up the pieces for her. And evidently I think the one to do that will be Naruto. what I dont like That Naruto is too dense to usually notice Hinata

Yay, debating! =3
"Love" has never been a motivator for Hinata's character growth. "Admiration" (like with everyone else) was. Sure, Hinata admires Naruto and has been changed/inspired by him, but let's look at the series. How many OTHER characters have been changed by him?
-Neji
-Sakura
-Tsunade
-Konohamaru
-Inari
-Gaara
-including all those pointless filler characters
Long story short though, her crush is just a consequence of the much stronger feelings that are those of admiration. And lots of other people have grown strong thanks to their admiration of Naruto as well.
When fighting with Neji, she fought for him because she ADMIRED him. Her fight had almost nothing to do with her 'love' for him, only admiration. When she was watching Naruto fight, she was watched his determination when he was fighting Kiba.
So as you can see, all these big things Hinata had done for Naruto had nothing to do with love; only admiration. Her speech to him, fighting to do her best with Neji, all were results of 'ADMIRATION'. But results from crush? That would be blushing, fainting, and giving medicine to Naruto (which could also be because of admiration). Now, I admit that she does have intimate feelings for him. But having a crush on him hasn't
In short, it's her Admiration of Naruto that brought her thus far, just like with many other people who got influenced by Naruto. Everything she did, she did in the name of the "person she admires", not in the name of "the person I want to go out with". The crush is just a side consequence. It actually shows her views of Naruto as closer to full-blown idolatry than anything else.
In the meantime, Even Kishimoto puts the "admiration" aspect as more significant in her relationship towards Naruto than her crush. In both databooks, he stated how much she admires him and considers him her "idol", then in the databook 2 relationships chart, for Hinata -> Naruto, he used the word "admire" instead of using "like" that he even used for Naruto -> Sakura and Ino -> Sasuke.
And as for the 'opposites attract' deal. Hm, when he was with Hinata, he wasn't himself. He was disappointed, he was down. He shows that to Sakura and Sasuke as well (more than Hinata, most likely). When he came back from the 2 1/2 year, he was in his most natural mood. He met Hinata, and he was HYPERACTIVE; the polar opposite of Hinata. So yes, they are too different. Hinata is shy, timid, and has low-self esteem, while Naruto is hyperactive, loud, speaks his mind, and never gives up. No matter how you see it, they ARE different. Naruto is Naturally loud, that's the way he feels most comfortable with. And when he said that he liked her, did he say that after she was shy, timid, and all that? No. When he said that, he was commenting on how she views him, and her speech in general. Sakura has almost the same 'admiration' for Naruto as well.
-Naruto already noticed Hinata. 'Noticing' doesn't always have to mean it in a romantical sense. She has already been accepted by Naruto. He thoguht she was strong, and the scene when she cheered him up was when she got his acceptance.
-Naruto doesn't fairly strive for 'acceptance' anymore. If you look at the part where he's trying to save Gaara, you can see that around him are a SEA of people that accept him for who he is already. Right now, he's striving to save Sasuke, and reform Team 7 for him and Sakura. And no, they haven't had the same type of pain.
Hinata's pain is only not being acknowledged. Mkay.
Naruto's pain includes being a Jinchurikki, being chased by a S-class missing nins, where his life is always at stake. He has a pain of losing his best teammate, like a brother. In that case, Sakura shares more of the pain than Hinata. Sakura already knows Naruto's pain of being a Jinchurikki (not experience, but knows), and she's feeling the same when she lost Sasuke.

What do you like and not like about this couple? I only like the fact that Hinata's crush on Naruto came from her admiration. Otherwise, nothing about it is good. It's shallow, it's weak, their bond is barely friendship, and Hinata's an everyday fangirl. Feh. Why is it so special? Because she seems to 'love' him? I don't think so. That's biased.
Do you suport it why or why not? No. I'm a big anti. There's nothing about it to like besides the fanart is good. Otherwise, it's a dead pairing, in my eyes.

Though, I can't say much about it. They don't have much interaction, but I blame the fact that they're not teammates. The pairing itself is cutely perfect, but it's not going anywhere so far. But everytime we hear Hinata, we do hear about "Naruto-kun" somewhere along the lines. Not all the time of course.
I can't debate much on this thing if you don't have a certain topic about the couple to debate about, because I don't study this pairing from inside out. =)

Okay, before Shimizu-chan and Applesauce-kun pull out the weapons, we might want to make a note that Naruto is the most SHOUNEN of the SHOUNEN series. Note the 'shounen', as it appeals to young/preteen BOYS. It's very hard to use manga/anime evidence to back up your ideas. The series will most likely end without anyone getting together, as it will gross out all those ten year olds out there.
Now that we've got that settled...
I love NaruxHina. I'm not sure why; I don't have an explanation like the other series. I just love it. ^-^

In Shounen, there's also romance. But in the shounen, boys always get what they want. I think that NaruHina is WAY too shoujo, where it's always what the girl wants. NaruSaku is more shounen. =3

I'm a supporter. It's not one of my favourite pairings, but it's the only pairing I like for Naruto (the character, not the show). I just hope Hinata's matured and doesn't faint at the sight of him anymore. That gets annoying after a while.

Idk, I'm a torn person when it comes to NarutoxSakura and NarutoxHinata. I mean its quite obvious that Hinata loves Naruto, what has Sakura done to show she likes him?

It's pretty obvious that Sakura loves Naruto.
'The only things I can do for Naruto...Are so small!'
'N-Naruto! Don't worry! I'll be the one to bring Sasuke-kun back!'
She feels guilt, because she feels that all she does for Naruto are just small favors, nothing special, when she wants to help him.
She even runs towards him while in 4-tail form, yelling that she'll help him, and she'll save Sasuke.
She was willing to risk her life for Naruto.

How the heck did we go from Naruto X Hinata to Naruto X Sakura?
either way... heres my two cents.
I like this pairing, they fit so well together, not to mention that Hinata was the first person to treat Naruto like a person. The fan art speaks for itself, They're perfect. =3
