Age: 25
Appearance: Average. That's about the only word that describes Talia. She is average in height, weight, and looks. Her hair is a drab dark blonde, and her face is rather unremarkable, though she is fairly easy on the eyes. The only thing about her that stands is her eyes being forest green in color and often intense.
Personality: Talia is brutaly honest. She does not believe in sugar-coating the truth, though she does know how to be tactful as not to offend anyone. Talia is a ver hard working person and often takes a hands-on approach to things. Since taking up the position of Senior Weyrwoman, she has become a little more thoughtful. Another one of her flaws is that she has a hard time connecting with people past a certain point. M'ram is the first bronzerider that has been with her through more then one flight.
History: Talia grew up in Southern Hold as the niece of the Lord Holder's wife. Often she spent time either outside, or with one of the various journeymen that would come to visit Southern Hold. The idea of marrying her off to a neighboring hold was often toyed with by her aunt and uncle, but nothing ever came of these ideas because of Talia's rather blunt nature.
At 18 she was Searched for Monaco Bay's Hatching and ended up Impressing Astroth, the queen. Talia was content as Junior Weyrwoman, though she never really became close to any of the bronzeriders that she ended up with during mating flights. As fate would have it, Astroth was the first gold to rise after Lyr stepped down from her position about a turn and half ago. It was M'ram's Etyth that caught Astroth that day, making M'ram Talia's Weyrleader. The two respect each other and have formed a friendship, though Talia is still getting use to M'ram's constant presence.

Dragons Personality: Astroth is a laid back, very friendly queen. She often worries about her rider and reminds Talia to be nice when it seems like Talia is about to offend someone.

Age: 60
Description: 5'9", she is long and lengthy. Lyr’sa had a strong body, both physically and mentally, though her physical strength as waned over the years she still as smart as ever. Her hair, a silvery white, reaches her mid back. Her eyes are a yellow/gold. She has a scar that goes from her left temple and along her cheekbone, that is a pale pearl color now with age, that stops about an inch from her nose. She says she received the scar as she fought for her life against a wild animal a many years ago, but it lie an most the riders know that.
Personality: Lyrasa had a quick temper, but she has learned to control it over the years. Sometimes it rears it’s ugly head. She is proud and headstrong, she is extremely loyal to the few friends she has. She has a fighting spirit and never gives up. She is outgoing and hates it when people judge before they know everything. Her parents death set her in depression for she was close to both of them. She pulled out of it, but has never been completely stable in her trust of herself since. She loves to have fun and enjoyed a night of games, fun and Harper stories when she was younger. She still likes them, but can’t sit for as long as she used to. He mom taught her in the arts of healing so she tries to be useful. One of her greatest fears is to not be wanted or to stop being useful.
History: She was a loner, a wanderer, and solitary. Her mother and father died in rockslide many many years ago. Sheltered by strangers and distant relatives she survived. She originally lived near Ista Hold, but when her parents died she was shipped to relatives all over Pern so she has been around all of Pern. She ran away and came to Monaco. Lry’sa tried her hardest to get Monaco ready for the upcoming Thread mennance. A year and a half ago her other half, the Weyrleader V’nar (who’s Danneth had caught her Byraneth for almost 30 years) died. Shortly after that, the disease ravaged itself through the wings and Lry’sa handed the leadership over to Talia, she wasn’t strong enough anymore.

Dragon Personality:: Is the calm side to Lyr'sa's wild one. She has a cool head in nasty situations and is very mature. She will protect her rider with an intensity very like that of a protective mother. She loves her rider very much, even though she still doesn't understand all the things that go on inside Lyr'sa's head. Byraneth is like a mother to many of the other dragons. Though she is a queen, she loved to race and have fun.

Character Name: Cadnor (now C'nor)
Age: 18
Discription: Cadnor is a tall young man, standing at about 6' 3". His jet black hair falls to his ears and is straight cut all the way across, with shorter bangs in the front. Cadnor has warm, inviting amber eyes, making him seem friendly right off the bat.
Personality: He is a very honest and open person, believing in honor and compassion. He always has a smile on his face and is quick to start up a conversation. He enjoys social events and the chance to meet new people.
History/Bio: Cadnor was the illegitiment son of the Lord Holder of Southern Hold. He spent most of his life doing his own thing, living in the shadows of his half-brothers. He was sent to be fostered at Tillek Hold when he was 12, but was sent back to Southern Hold when he came of age at 17. He was discovered on Search about a year ago and Impressed his Dath about 6 months ago.

Character Name: T'cat
Age: (in Turns) 31
Discription: T'cat is rather short in stature reaching maybe a solid 5?0? if not a few inches shorter. His hair is a flaming red, which is short but wild sticking out in every direction, that stands out against his almost white skin, his skin almost impossible to tan. His eyes are a bright green with small patches of blue in them that only can be seen up close. He is rather built with a lot of upper strength in his arms and some in his legs. He tends to have a light pattern of freckles that scatters across his shoulders and along the bridge of his nose and on his cheeks. Mostly they aren't visible unless he has been out in the sun more than he usually is which then they become bright and even a bit red. Normally T'cat is found in his weyrhide pants and shirt unless he is in his riding gear and T'cat rarely ever wears anything fancy but when he does they're usually torn by the time he gets them off.
Personality: T'cat is a rather rowdy man and very open. He loves to make others laugh. He also loves to fight and is found often rough housing in his weyr with his canine Yerd. When it comes to hard work T'cat is always right in on the action. The harder the labor is the more T'cat wants to help. He's rather hyper too. If he's not using his blue Filth to get from one place to another around the weyr, he's running. The word walk isn't even in his vocabulary.
History/Bio: T'cat began as Tocat the son of the farmer Issick and his wife Aldima in Nerat Hold. Tocat, as he was known then, had a younger and an older sister. He was the only boy born of the family so he was pretty much stuck helping his father with the crops in the fields. Not that he minded though, he grew to really enjoy working in the fields. He enjoyed every moment of hard work to his fathers surprise.
At the age of sixteen Tocat was searched by a searchrider from the Southern Weyr. His father and mother were reluctant to release him to the Weyr but after some convincing they allowed Tocat to go and only a few months later after his seventeenth birthday Tocat impressed to a beautiful blue now known as Filth and became the dragonrider T'cat. Filth and T'cat were two of the best in their Weyrling class. Filth was always competing with the browns and bronzes for the appraises of the Weyrlingmasters green.
However at their very first threadfall as full dragonriders, Filth took a bad injury to his tail which resulted in the loss of over half of his tail. It took Filth quite a while to learn to fly after losing so much of his tail which had been his balance during flight. Now Filth is one of the most agile blues in the air. It wasn't long after Filth could fly once again that the Weyrwoman came to T'cat asking him to take over the Weyrlingmaster duties of the late Weyrlingmaster. T'cat boldly accepted the Weyrwomans request and after aprenticeship under the Weyrlingmaster he too became a Weyrlingmaster.
After serving a few years as the Weyrlingmaster in Southern Weyr a request came to the Weyr from Monaco Bay Weyr for a Weyrlingmaster. T'cat was quick to volunteer to help out the Weyr and fill the position. He left Southern Weyr in the capable hands of his assistant and took off for the Monaco Bay Weyr with Filth and Yerd. Here they hoped to bring back the population of dragon riders by training the future weyrlings to the best of their abilities and have the Weyr back on it's feet in no time!

Dragons Personality: Filth is an extremely playful dragon. If he could he would rough house right along with T'cat and Yerd when they get to playing. Alas he just sticks to trying to get other dragons to have fun with him either while flying by doing aerial tricks or by trying to wrestle with them on the ground though not many dragons seem to want to wrestle play with him. He loves to smart off to T'cat in a play of whits and any chance he is given he loves to play jokes on T'cat. Filth overall is a fun loving and rowdy dragon enjoying every moment of life he can.

Age: 23
Appearance: She's what you might call a dark beauty. Her skin is nearly always deeply tanned to a nice shade of bronze, with dark brown eyes and hair. When forced to remain inside her skin will eventually fade to a light tan which brings out the freckles on her nose, as they tend to be hidden otherwise. Also 5'2 in height and wears her hair pulled back 98% of the time she's ever seen.
Personality: Very reserved, ladylike, and what one might call uptight. Getting to know her is very hard, as she doesn't seem to like "playing around", and takes her position as T'cat's assistant extremely seriously. What people don't know is that she actually would like to loosen up, but the fact that she's got alot of responsibility on her shoulders and wants to prove she's worth something, she remains distant to most everyone (also part of her homelife influence her reserved-ness)
History: Falina grew up on a farm where her mother worked hard with her, as a child, to be lady-like and proper, unlike her three brothers who where very loud and loved the wrestle. She wasn't allowed to participate in such activities as her mother worked hard to keep her under her thumb. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that through previous generatations the family had gotten a bad reputation and her mother hoped to impress those in higher status with her daughter's manners and perhaps marry into one thus gaining back some honor the family had lost...but Falina wasn't exactly impressed with the idea, and tried to find some way out of it...and out of her mother's grasp.
It was then that fate blessed her and she was was searched out by a searchrider on her 19th birthday. Her father was all for the idea even moreso since she was chosen along with one of her younger brothers, but her mother was completely dead set against it and refused to allow her daughter to leave and ruin her little "plot". Falina, in a fit of desperatness, convinced her father to sneak her out while her mother slept the day before her 20th birthday and her propased marriage that she knew was little more than a sham. Before she knew it, she's was in the weryr and finally free of her mother...but new problems developed.
Being one of the oldest candidates meant that there were very limited times in which she'd be given the chance to Impress upon a dragon before being forced to leave and with each passing hatching, she grew more depressed. She worked her hind end off, hoping that if she was unlucky enough not to Impress, that perhaps someone would take pity on her and allow her to remain, even if it was to do nothing but menial jobs. Luckily, she never had to go that route as her 22nd birthday neared she impressed upon a green dragon named Kimath.
During the next two years of training, F'ina and Kimath worked hard together having the same ideals and work ethic. They trained for long hours to prove their worth to their leaders, not because they wished to show off, but only because they wanted to prove that they were both capable students and would make good leaders themselves. Having impressed her teachers and the other leaders by with their abilities and the fact they didn't give up in the face of discouragement when even most seasoned dragons and Riders did, they were promoted right out of weryling training to Assistant Werymaster. It is here here that her story begins...

Dragons Personality: Much the same as F'ina...very reserved and proper, almost cold to most, but deep inside longs to be more. Her Rider's want to prove herself has become her own, as a small dragon (only about 22.7 dragonfeet) she wants to prove to the older and larger ones that even the smallest can make a name for themselves.

Age: 31
Appearance: M'ram is now for his intense brown eyes which seem to bore into one's mind. His midnight hair perfectly compliments his eyes and he measure in at 6 feet tall. Like most other dragonriders, M'ram is fit and in shape.
Personality: Sometimes he's cold and distant, and sometimes he's warm and caring; it all depends on the circumstances. He's one that likes to listen to reason and tries to look for solutions that suit everyone.
History: M'ram was born and raised in Monaco Bay Weyr as the son of a drudge and a brownrider. He would often help his father care for his dragon and would tag along whereever he could. He was also a pupil of the resident harper, that's where he learned the art of negotiation. At 15 he Impressed the bronze Etyth after standing as a candidate for several turns before.
After he became a full-fledged dragonrider, M'ram quickly rose through the ranks becoming a wingleader. About two turns ago, Etyth caught Astroth in the flight that determined who would become the new Weyrleader. At first, he and Talia respected each other, but nothing more, but now, their relationship has evolved to friendship. Despite this, M'ram suspects that he may have deeper feelings for his Weyrwoman.

Dragons Description: Etyth is large bronze, but very lean, making him more agile then most bronzes. He is a true bronze color.
Dragon Personality: Etyth is a negotiator. He often intervenes if he feels that his rider is about to lose his cool. He is very dedicated to his queen, and is a very likeable dragon.

Age: 16
History: She lived with her parents and older sister in a small cothold near Nerat until she was ten. Then her sister was killed during Threadfall. Kimm was alerted because Karra's brown firelizard went between and didn't reappear. She became detached and cold. When she was chosen on Search to be a candidate for a dragon, she made herself swear to become the best dragonrider there was in memory of Karra's lifelong dream to become a rider.
Appearance:She has boyish, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, long legs, and a slim figure. She is very flexible.
Personality: She is detached from everyone around her, spurred only by the thought of becoming a fighting dragonrider. She will do anything to protect Pern, because that was her sister's desire. She follows the rules blindly, rarely doing anything she isn't told to do. But she is rarely contrite when she does go against rules, which sometimes does happen quite a bit.

Despite his cheerful demeanor, he has a serious side that shouldn't be ignored, and is twice as quick to defend his friends as himself.
History: Grew up in the weyr. Since he was young, he has been fond of dragons, and has stood several times but not yet impressed. He hasn't let this spoil his good spirits though, he says he's waiting for the right one.

Personality: smart and particular, Emra sometimes has trouble with other people, especially if they're trying to tell her what to do. Respectful only of dragons and their riders, she can be kind when she wants to but only if it's the smart thing to do. Always has at least two ways out of any situation she gets in.
History: Got kicked out of Honshu for fighting with another candidite, Emra has come to the weyr in the hopes of starting out fresh. Emra is determined to make friends and keep herself out of trouble if she can. Recently, Emra Impressed to Gold Tarith at a hatching at Monaco Bay Weyr; where she now lives.

Dragon's Personality: Calm and softspoken, Tarith's gentle and sweet nature is a fine complement to her young rider's unpredictable personality. Tarith is always close to Emra and worries constantly when they are apart. Despite her nature, Tarith can be feirce if something threatens her or Emra. The gold also loves to play with her rider's two firelizards; though sometimes Emra's gold, Rain, doesn't appreaciate it.

Appearance: He has short blonde hair, sun-bleached so that it is nearly white, deep-sea blue eyes, and a sprinkling of freckles across his cheeks, nose, and forearms. He is tall, lean, and flexible, and is incredibly graceful in the water.
Personality: Kirrin has an infinite amount of patience and a sense of humor like no other. Only the worst possible things can break past his happy-go-lucky attitude. He always makes the best of anything and tries his hardest no matter what the chore. He likes to help people, and knows instinctively who might need his help the most.
History: His father was a masterfisherman at Paradise River Hold, and his mother was a journeywoman of the Weavercrafthall. As a boy, Kirrin had absolutely no talent for fishing and was always underfoot on his father's ship. Instead he would spend as much time as possible swimming in the many coves around the Hold with a young dolphin, Ink, that he became attached to. While his mother supported his love of swimming, she didn't understand his passion and was therefore no help convincing his father to let him apprentice at the Dolphin Crafthall. When he was thirteen, a group of his friends told their parents and the parents banded together to "convince" his father to let him go. So he and the dolphin Ink went on the Dolphin Crafthall to become an apprentice and move on to journeyman rank. He is currently studying for his mastery.

Age: 20
Appearance: "Uncurvy", a word that is often used to describe Chris. At first glance, one might mistake her for a pre-teen boy, but it never really bothered her. In fact, she appreciated her rather straight figure because it helped make it easier for her to swim. Her hair is naturally dark brown, but all the time in the sun has bleached it to a lighter brown. Warm chocolate seems to be the color of her eyes, which always seem warm and inviting.
Personality: Chris is naturally a quiet woman, but she is always a friendly one. She has a motherly-like air about her, so people seem drawn to her when they need comforting.
History: Growing up in a small hold by the sea, Chris naturally felt drawn to the water and learned to swim almost before she learned to walk. Every spare moment found her down by the shore, gazing across the distance with a dreamy look in her eye. When she turned ten, she got into a fight with her parents and ran away. In the process she got lost and found herself in an unfamilar shore. There she met her first dolphin pod, and they helped her find her way back home. Since that first encounter, she learned all she could about these animals by spending time with them, so much time, in fact, that her parents came to the conclusion to send her to Katherine Hold when she turned twelve. She has lived there ever since.
