I personally like DEFENCE and HP. I used to have a blissey but now, with the new attack styles, it dies way too easily.(low defence crying ) I love my ludicolo, (super healing)
Giga drain, Leech seed and rain dance with rain dish, holding a big root.... xp anyhoo, my personal fave's are Water,Ghost and Grass
ps. please don't copy my ludicolo strategy... sweatdrop

Speed. If I had to chose another it would be attack. Stat uppers are awesome and speed and attack have the best ones. Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Agility, Rock Polish, plus Swords Dance/Endure/Reversal/Salac Berry owns if they don't have something with sandstream or snow warning. In a battle of things that can kill each other in one or two hits, the speedier one will nearly always win.

that's not qute true abomasnow can take a heck of alotta punishment [as long as you don't fight a fire type]and is rather slow but attack and special attack are REALLY high.
My favorite types are Ice,dragon,and dark

Speed or attack? WHy not have both? I have em. and it helps alot, moving first and most of the time gettin a 1 hit ko

Best ground ever/best pokemon ever = Nidoking
Dragon are usually really cool, but there are exceptions...
Not that my party is full of them, but I seem to favor the ones that are in my party...
I like attack and defense! I do use all the stats, but I find myself making sure I learn moves that affect attack and defense.

I actually like combinations that rule:
Houndoom:psy and steel killer
Lanturn: he pretty much covers all his weaknesses
Kingdra: His one weakness is his strength
Spirtitom: Can't touch this
Heracross: Steel, Psy, and Dark killer
etc.
too bad most of them have horrible stats...
