Hey everybody! ^^;;; Sorry I haven't been online much lately...I was taking a small break from my compy to basically work and sleep. ^^;; So sad *shakes head* I have no life. I work constantly...But! I'm starting to get use to working all the time, and I can survive off of minimal sleep lately, so I should be here more! rofl *pokes at the guild* It's been kind of slow lately, but I'm going to try and get things rolling again. We need more *active* members! If anyone has any ideas (contest, guild participation, etc,), please PLEASE let me know ^_^

Well, I don't know who knows this but I own a couple guilds myself. And for getting member activity going is to post on the front page of the guild MoM or Member of the Month. Read below ,
NEW !!! :
Attention all members of ,. Starting < Pick a date > I shall be deciding who has been most active, participant, and following of the guild. Each month I shall pick this member and on a random month there shall be a prize. What is that prize ??? Well the only way to find out is to be good boys and girls ^_^. And remeber, the one who post the most in the month isn't always chosen . It must be a member who abides to all the rules, post around, and gets along with all members .

*hugs Recca* That is a good idea! *beams* I love my little guild so much, I'd hate for it to be inactive....We've all been through so much in the past while. Anyways, that's a good idea. If I have free time today (I probably will), then I will change the opening page around a bit...Maybe put some new pix up of the new game if I can find some decent ones. ^^

How about a monetary reward, doesn't have to be too much since it's a monthly thing. Maybe 500-2k gold, somewhere in that range.
Unopened trunks might work, too. pirate

I also have an idea if member inactivity is a problem.
Before accepting people who request to join the guild, take one person who has been inactive for a long time out. That way, user activity increases, but the number of members doesnt decrease.

I kinda agree with moboish, in that inactive members could be removed, but I'd suggest notifying them that inactivity may result in expulsion. You could do it to members that haven't posted in a year or so.
idea Actually, before you do anything, you could put up a poll to see if the members are in favor of a "time out" cancelling of their subscription to the guild...

Here is a smart idea, take down all the topics that haven't had post in them for about a month to 2 months, otherwise that is just using up space and the popular topics will always be up top. We don't need 3 pages of topics if no one is hardly posting on them. You could warn the users who made the topic about shutting it down unless they can get 10 different people to post at least 1 or 2 times.
2nd idea, How about we have a recruiting contest. all the lunar guild members will use a banner of sorts with a link to the Guild Home Page. We can ask people to refer to which user they linked from. They have to say which user referred him/her to the guild otherwise if they want to join but no referral is named, they can't join.
For only a limited time of course. We still want people to come here of there own free will.
