Chapter 1
Confession
Sitting alone in her hospital room, thinking about what the next plain of action was now. She had gotten the news a few
months ago. That if a heart was not available soon she would not make it much longer. But that was the least thing on her mind
right now. What was on her mind was Tara. The one person who is always on her mind. Controlling the need to cry she thinks
what she did a month go. She left Tara, the one woman she wanted to spend her life with but Alice turned away thinking that
would be for the best. She had told Tara she no longer loved her, which was not the case Alice lied with every intention of saving
Tara heart ache later. Saving her the pain of death." She will never know I'm sick never know I've died and then she will find
someone new whose not sick." At the thought of this Alice was in tears, But whipped them away as she threw her long black hair
in a messy bun. Taylor will be here soon she thought to her self. Taylor visited her every day A mutual friend of Tara and Alice's
they met at pride day in collage. Hes the only one that knew about Alice's heart problem, she made him promise not to tell Tara
about it under no circumstances. He was having lunch with her today. She Always thinks hes going to spill his guts. The knock
at the door "Come on in Taylor" Alice says putting her fake convincing smile on to hide the fact she had been crying. Taylor came
in the room as cheerful as always setting four roses on the far table "Those for me?" Alice said. "No, They are for the hot hunk of
male flesh at the front desk!" He said in his sarcastic tone. She giggled as she noticed Taylor wore his hair the way she liked it
spiked back that made him look more appealing to her in a nonsexual way. He used his looks to his advantage to get a new boy
toy every night. "How are you feeling?" He said as he made him self comfortable on the side of her bed. "I'm fine, How was lunch
Is Tara okay?" Alice loved to hear about Tara " I was hoping you would not ask." The disappointment in his voice scared Alice
"What happened? Is she okay? What is wrong" The heart monitor beeped rapidly "Nothing shes fine shes just missing you like
crazy. She has not been eating she cried during lunch today" Alice looked at her hands sadly "No worries Taylor she will be fine
soon.. she will meet some one and forget all about me." Taylor looked at her with a shameful look on his face "Why are you really
not telling her You love her yet you hide something like this from her!" "BECAUSE!" She was getting upset and the heart monitor
was Beeping that made the nurse come over the intercom "Is everything al right in there?" The hospital was watch Alice's heat
rate like a hawk. "yes ma'am" Taylor said clearly for the nurse to hear. Alice calmed her self before speaking. " Because I could not
leave this world knowing she was alone and knowing she still loves me. I want her to fall in love and be happy." Her eyes where
swelling with tears. "I told her" He said quietly Alice barely heard him "You did WHAT?!" " I told her you where sick and where
you where" Alice gave him a glare as she started to cry "Why did you do that? How could you..you" He interrupted " Its not right I
cant count many of times I have come in an you have been crying staring at her picture. This is not good for either of you and you
know it. I cant handle this her calling me every night in tears asking if I had heard from you, and Paying for untouched food." Alice
stared at him dumbfounded "GET OUT!" She screamed "GET OUT!" She burst into tears Taylor comforted her " I'm sorry Ali, I
could not see this happen anymore." she looked at him forgivingly "Just go Tyler I need to be alone." "I understand." He hugged
her quickly and left the room with out a word. Alice curled her self into a ball. She whispered to her self " I love you Tara I love you"
then she drifted to sleep. The night was peaceful but her sleep was not restful. It was cold and the constent busstle of doctors and
nurses comeing in and out checking her heart monitor She woke with the sun shine in her face. Alice sat up Trying so hard to
forget what had happend the day before. The nurse came in with her meds and breakfast "Morning Alice How Are you feeling this
morning?" The nurse said cheerfuly "Im fine , Thank you." Alice said quickly trying to speed the nurse out of room. When the
nurse did leave Alice ate her breakfast quickly as she always did while watching her morning soaps. She took her medicene as
as the soap was off which it was noon alice was dreading noon today Tyler betryed her she did not want to see Tara it would hurt
to much. Her hopes that yesterday was a dream. The knock at the door sent Alice into a Panic her heart monitor beeped rapidly
"Come in" She shouted at the door turning the opposite direction from the door so she could not see the person coming in
"Its me!" said a familar voice "Thank God Its you!" It was just her doctor she had never been so happy to see him. She turned
over quickly. He smiled happily "We have some good news." "I can leave!?" " No....Your heart is not getting worce but its not
getting better either. You going home Would be perfict news..Right?" Alice just nodded. "Has anything come avalable for me yet?"
"Not yet..But have faith Its gonna be alright expecialy if your condition stays at its plato..until we can get you that replacement."
"Thank you doc." "Any time" he left the room. Alice turned over away from the door again in anticipation. A few minutes went by
and some one had come into the door her heart monitor skiped a few beats.. "Alice." Tara's voice calmly said when touched she
touched Alice's shoulder. Alice had shut her eyes trying to avoid it all but she could not restain any longer. "Hello Tara."

I will add more detail later there are a few things I would like to add. Im just not quite sure where yet...
