The city of layers consists of five layers. The lower layers contain the majority of the population and the lowest standard of living and the higher ones contain a lower percentage of the population but a much higher standard of living.

5th Layer: The basement or slums. There is almost no structure and it is all survival of the fittest. As a result there are constant gang wars and because of its position at the bottom, all the toxic waste that drains down there has caused many strange things and people to appear.

4th Layer: This layer is all about industry and for the people working there the standard of living is not much better than the 5th. However, instead of an unorganized lifestyle, it is all highly organized. Everything is done at a certain time and on time, otherwise the machine like operation of the layer could collapse and take the whole city into ruin.

3rd Layer: This layer is were most of the economy, trade with other cities, entertainment and travelers are seen. It is the part of the city that looks the most normal to outsiders. It also gives the easiest access to the outside world, however for those without their passes they cannot get back out. Thus many a traveler has been suddenly stranded inside the city forever.

2nd Layer: This is where all the wealthy individuals of the city reside. Only the richest and most powerful people are allowed access here.

1st Layer: It seems that no one knows anything about the highest layer. It is most commonly known by the nickname "Heaven on Earth."

Those in the lower levels can rise to become residents of the higher levels, however it is anything except easy.



1) Fallow all guild rules.
2) Indicate which profile you will be using after posting one in the profile sticky on the main page.
3) All individuals start on the 5th layer.
4) All individuals must be human or mutated humans. Otherwise, if you insist on being something else you must have a good explaination on how you ended up being on the world. Also, the less human you are or seem to be, the harder it will be to rise through the layers.

A light floated down from above and hovered between Kiansin's face and Detrick. It then moved to her left, then to her right and then it flew up and down. Before long it looked like it was vibrating in the air. After this it began circling around Detrick's head and finally dropped to the ground behind him and exploded.

Though noisy the explosion had no force to it and all it did was give off alot of light. However, for those living on the 5th layer the light was enough to blind them all for a few minutes.

After the light was gone they found that a man had appeared. He was wearing strange clothing and had lavender colored hair. He also seemed to be uncontious.

Suddenly the man's eyes open and he stands up. He looks around then smiles at Kiansin. "Excuse me... can you tell where I am?"

"I see..." he said when she mentioned the city of layers. "Then when she asked his name he bowed quickly. "My appologies. My name is Kenutsu Yasashiku."

"See you later then." Kenutsu shrugs.

((Ooo Ooo! Sounds fun))

Kat kicks a guy in the gut, knocking him back and uncouncious. Hah! That's what he gets for trying to mug her. Another guys runs towards her. Pow! Right in the face her fist lands, also knocking him out cold. How dare these idiots try to steal her hard earned stolen money. She looks around to see if there is any others, tucking her light pink and purple short hair behind her ear. Takeing out the normal muggers was easy, thanks to her un-natural streangh she gained from some strange chemicals. The down side, her brown hair change to light pink and purple and her blue eyes also change to a nice blend of pink and purple, her pupils like a cats. Made her stand out a little more but that's ok, lots of people seem to have strange looks now. Seeing no one else comming she searches the men and takes whatever money they had. Walking away she stops in front of an broken mirror, showing pale skin on her thin but curvy body, a black t-shirt that was still in good condition, dark blue jeans with a hole on the left knee, and combat boots. She sighs as she tries to wipe some dirt off her face before walking off again, figureing it would be useless.

"What do you mean by ... not yet?" said Kiansin, growing suspicious.

Kiansin nodded her head. "That does make perfect since. Well you know me. And I have a free day today. So what do you want to do?"
