I just finished watching this movie. I must say, it's great.

I love all of the songs, so I'm most likely going to end up buying the soundtrack.

Have any of you seen it?

I've seen it and yeah i might say that i liked it, the music was really good too. Shahrukh just rocked his part of the movie and Amitabh did too!

The only parts that were kinda on my nerfs were the widow who falls in love with a guy but she can't be with him cause she is a widow but she has actually never been with her husband..well whatever..i remember that part was not like by moi..

but as for the rest it was good.. i love that song..Peronmei Bandan hai..payalke machaya shore..

She was only keeping herself from him because of her father-in-law. By making her do all of her duties as a wife, he could tell himself that his son was still alive. It was unfair, but she just wanted to make him happy.

I would have to say my favorite song from the movie is "Soni Soni."

Yay, I finally saw this movie earlier in the week! I haven't had a chance to talk about it yet, though.

I loved it. The performances were all good, the songs were good. Amitabh, Shahrukh, amazing. I loved their scenes together. Both rocked all of their scenes together and it was wonderful to watch them together.

Okay, about the three love stories... Okay, I have only seen Uday Chopra in Dhoom and Dhoom 2. And I have laughed at him. And I think he's a goof. And he was a goof in this movie, sure (maybe he typecasted himself?), but he was good. I feel bad about being mean about him earlier (I didn't care for him), but I guess he's not so bad. Jimmy Sherigal (I mispelled his last name, fine, but you guys know who I'm talking about) was all right. I saw him in Dil Hai Tumhaara and he didn't get Preity, so I was really rooting him on here.

That one girl was annoying, though. I can't even remember her name, but she was the third student's girlfriend. Her voice was kind of irritating and her character annoyed me! Why was she like that to him? He was working part time, wasn't he? He can't just take off work! She must have been spoiled like mad to expect him to take off work just for her.

I did enjoy the story, though, and I realized (not fast enough, obviously) about forty-five minutes in that SRK was the one kicked out of Gurukul. I felt like a fool for not realizing it earlier, but I'm sure SRK will forgive me. biggrin

Lengthy, and some of the scenes with the three students and their love interests were... not unnecessary, but they weren't that interesting for me. Really, as I said before, I loved watching Amitabh and Shahrukh in scenes together.

I'm sure you guys have already seen this movie though, but there it is. I seem to always give little reviews for movies, so... >.>

Good review. I ahve a question. I am confused on which girl you ment was annoying. Sameer's girl (Kim Sharma) was the ne that made him take off and she was the one with a boyfriend and ya ya ya. However, teh third boy was Jimmy and his girl (Kiran) I believe didn't ask him to do anything...her voice was a bit weird I admit...but I am confused on which girl you meant...LOL!

It wasn't the widow. It had to have been Kim Sharma, then. Kiran (who I think is Preeti Jhangiani?) was very sweet in the movie. smile
