well after some time I have actually come to accept the ending of that movie at first I really didn't like it at all. But the only problem I have with it they didn't show much of the military. Roy and everyone else had pretty big parts in the anime and once the movie came out they mostly got cut out.

It kind of bugged me how Ed and Al couldn't use alchemy anymore, but I still thought it was awesome.

I liked the movie, but since i didn'e read alot of the manga, it lost me in some areas. i liked the music though...

i only wish that they could've given Roy a larger role. ...hes my favorite i also wish they couldve filled us in a little bit more so those who didn't read the manga could follow the damn movie

Reading the manga wouldn't help understand that movie. The manga and the movie had nothing in common at all and the manga didn't have and type of steer towards the movie. The movie simply played off the show in it's own awkward way. confused

15 doesn't come out till September 14 just came out this month. I only have up to 13 in English and number 15 in Chinese... I need to get back to the book store.. >>

The movie was good, though the fact that Ed and Al ended up stranded on Earth at the end bugged me a bit. I guess I hoped they'd be reunited and get to stay in their own world. They are fine with their fate though, so I guess there isn't too much to complain about on that part.
The movie does not follow the manga, it follows the anime, taking place two years after the events of the series. I need to read the manga...
