I love to decorate, I like hanging posters and stuff animals on my wall in my room. Tell me how you like to decorate your room.

I have a bad habit with having things symmetric. I need to learn to not have things squared up so much.

Well, I normally stick things where I feel they flow.
& I tend to have a color scheme.
( earth tones etc. )
Such as my room is always filled with sunlight.
It's a turret, so a circular room.
I have olive, tan & brown bed covers.
Hardwood flooring, pale bamboo colored walls. A small cherry wood table with a Buddha statue with a green candle in his hands. A Few accents other than that ( Bamboo in a pot. )
Thats basically my bedroom Lol.

I think the actual colors of my room are more important then the decoration ninja

silverstream716 i tend to buy losts of blue things Color is a great way to start a theme. See if there are other items that fit together in what you have bought. For example, have you bought a lot of Tiki items? Try picking your favorite item and make up a short story about it, then see what else you can add that supports that story. There are lots of ways to build a cohesive theme for your house. Most of all have fun!!! cool

Well, IF I had my own room, I would decorate it to have wainscotting, crown molding, and lots of antiques. also, I would put in a floor length red cutain over the window to make it look fancy. I hope someday i will get my own room... cry

Tell me how you like to decorate your room. haha I'm kinda like you x10 I have animals and scarves and stuff on my wall. and a border of pics I took. but I also have a cloths line running through my room with things suck to it. like my evil stuffed bunny. plus I have lotsa japanese lights
