((I'm guessing this subforum includes medieval fantasy too.))

This rp will actually be based on an rp in my guild, Knights of the West.
For a hundred and twenty years, the world has been split into three countries. The two larger dominate the land, although the smaller is a large source of agriculture. This story begins in this land.
Until this time, this land, Tesaleh, has been peaceful. Even when the two larger countries went to war, the Tesalians stayed neutral, providing resources for both sides. Five years after this war, the last king, a good king and fair diplomat, died of unknown causes. Since this time, the country has been lead by three men. The first, Desen Jh'tder, was known throughout the land as a fair, just, and honorable man, as well as a master tactician. The second, Rad'raku, was a mysterious mage who had appeared when the war between the major countries had broken out, and quickly gained favor with the king. The third, final ruler was Itos Osgold, a wood elf from the Saiss forest.
As another two years went by, Desen gave up leadership of the country and began to once again work as a general. Itos Osgold was murdered two months later, and Rad'raku was the only remaining leader. The dark leader ruled for another three years before our story begins. On that fateful day, he declared war on all mages, outlawing the use of magic in any way.
