so what do people think of AWE? was it a good ending to the trilogy? i thought that it was a bit of a letdown. i mean i liked it enough (who cannot like a PotC movie?) but it could have been better. did anyone watch the cookie at the end of the credits? i thought that it was really cute and it made me feel alot better about the whole Will being seperated from Elizabeth thing.
so...any favorite parts? any parts that you absublutly loathed? any parts that you got totally lost on?

Really? I could not have been happier with it. Sure, the first time I saw it I was practically shellshocked at the ending, but I reflected on it and saw it two more times and now I fully understand that they had to end it like that. Will and Elizabeth couldn't possibly have a sappy "happily ever after" coming out of everything they've gone through.
The Maelstrom fight scene left me breathless. My heart pounds when I watch it, it's so intense! Jack's clever flipping of the Pearl upside-down to return to the world of the living was great, too.
The only scene I particularly didn't care for was when Jack was in Davy Jones's locker and he was frickin' crazy. It didn't seem to fit with the rest of the style of the movie... a little too "Pirates on acid" or something.
As for the rest of it, though, I LOVED it. heart
