Yeah, that's funny... but it loses a little charm after the 1,000,000th time. My hubby is a huge Family Guy fan, so I've seen that a few times.... 4laugh

I still giggle every time.. I think my favorite one is the ep with the "Breakfast Machine".. forget which ep it is, but I own most of the seasons. LOVE Family Guy. Personally, though, I like where Stewie tries to pump Lois while she's asleep better than Peter trying to Nurse Stewie.. blaugh heart

I agree..I wonder if it's really that hard for them.

hahaha... first, I have to tell you a quick funny story, then my actual post... So, I'm still not used to all this "moderator jazz" and I have the ability to edit anyone's post. Now, as we all know, the "edit" button is right next to "quote". I clicked "edit" on your post, Kage, and I was trying to figure out why only my post was quoted. I thought there was something wrong. Then I looked at the banner of the page and I realized just what a fool I am. lol sweatdrop blaugh

Anywhoo~ I don't think it's anywhere near that hard on them. Anja went from nursing to bottle, to cup with little to no issue transitioning. Man, if I ever caught her trying to pump me in the middle of the night... xd I'd be rich! just think of the publicity! We'd be on Tyra, and the View, and ET, and Oprah, and Maury, and....... all of them (not Jerry.. lol). Though, I'm sure it's harder for some kids to kick the boobie habit than others.. xp heart

I have a funny story to share with you all since we ae talking about breast feeding... When I had my first kid, his Godmother had to have Back Surgery, so I stayed at their house for the week that she was in the hospital taking care of her girls while her husband was at work.. Well the 2 older girls were at school so it was just me and the youngest who was 3 at the time, anyways I was breastfeeding my son, and Shaun walks into the room and asks me, "what are you doing?". I then replied that "I am feeding the baby." Well she disappeared upstairs to her room and she came back down with her dolly.... I looked over and looked at shaun who had her shirt pulled up and her dolly pressed up to her breast, I asked her what she was doing and this is what she said," I'm feeding my baby too!". OMG! You could of hit me with a brick, I laughed so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes.. We later that night went to visit her mom at the hospital and I told her what shaun did, and she laughed, but it is not good to tell someone who just had back surgery something funny....LOL

hahaha!! Kids are so funny at that age! My favorite 3-yo stories are from my director's daughter, Lacey. Not too long ago, she picked up one of the plastic baby dolls we have at school, and turned to her mother, "Mommy, this baby isn't a boy or a girl. It doesn't have boy or girl parts... what is it?" hehehe. can't quite tell them "asexual" at that age, or "nondescript"... or "geeze, Lacey.... it's just a plastic toy! who cares if it's a boy or a girl, use your imagination!"... though, that would be funny to say..

I can only imagine how bad it would hurt to laugh as hard as I did at that story after having back surgery... ouch! yeah.. I don't think I have any breastfeeding stories that are actually funny. Though, I did have a horse bite me right on the left n****e several years back. Left me mildly disfigured sad , and I wondered for a while if it would be functional when I had kids. Much to my chagrin, it was overly functional. Like a leaky faucet! I went through about 3x as many nursing pads on that side compared to the other.. eek My shirts were soaked a lot, and I usually wouldn't realize it. Sometimes, I would be nursing Anja, and go to switch sides, and I would just wonder for a little bit why her side was all wet.. hahaha.. we both had to change sweatdrop

I have a funny breastfeeding story... but it has nothing to do with Fox.
Matthew and I got married when Fox was two months old, so I was still breastfeeding. Well, we went on our honeymoon and left Fox with our parents (each side got to keep him for a couple of days) for the week. I had bought a breast pump a few days before because I knew that I would need it. I did NOT want to become engourged! Anyway, for some reason the pump would not work. I guess I should have tried it out before we left, but I just assumed that pumping would be simple. Apparently not for me. The stupid thing did not want to suction at all. So, I tried to manually dispel the milk while I was in the shower. No relief came. They were so huge and full that I thought they would pop! So, I had to go with my last resort. I went up to Matt and told him my dillema. I told him that the only thing left I could think to do was to have him "help". And he did. And everything was better!!!! So, twice a day for that week he had to "help" get rid of the breastmilk. It was sooo funny and embarassing. I asked him once what it tasted like and he said it was kind of sweet. I will not ever taste breastmilk and I felt so bad for him!
