I cant believe how stupid the guy in charge of my team (I was the Jiraiya rook) was it was fun to be in but he made several major mistakes the biggest of which was not having Luigi capture the queen. scream scream scream

I was the James on the evil side. I neer got to move., but yeah, I saw a lot of moves he could have made. Who knows, that may have plan for the evil side to win.

the problem was that the players were so different in skill. It came obviously pretty quickly who was going to win that one.

*pokes head in* yes Kasumi is still alive (we think)...
We were sitting next to the two guys playing during the match... The white guy had no idea what he was doing; by the end he was taking suggestions from those of us sitting near them, although by then it was a bit late to help him.
Hopefully they'll do it again next year; I think they will though. The event went over pretty well. I might sign up for it next year. My husband had fun in it; he was the Dr. Jekyl that got recruited last minute to be one of the black pawns.

I did find a short video and there where some pics floating around. I was pulled for the last minute to play for the baddies.
I saw some moves that I would have taken if I was in charge of the good side.

I was the Envy on the evil side. ^^ I found a couple of videos on youtube, but that's probably not what the original poster was wanting. ^^;
I was a little sad that I didn't really do anything except get moved a couple of times, but I was even sadder that a good majority of the evil side never moved, including our beloved king, Pyramid Head! crying
...maybe next year the two players will be more even in terms of skill, and we'll get more time for the match, as well?

I really wanted to play the cosplay chess, but I didn't know how I could be in it crying
I wasn't in it, but everyone might have seen me. I was Coon from Free Collar's kindoms. (I had the giant anchor. Yay ACHOR!)
