I'm not really into hip hop because of the words and how rappers act, but i love the music in the background! What do you like/ dislike about it?

I just never really got into it. That and some of the things some rappers do and rap about kinda annoy me.

its boring, repetitive and is more like people talking than singing. there's no skill in it at all, almost anyone can rap, but not as many can sing well

yeah, i agree with both of you... rappers annoy the crap out of me. But if you took the background music by itself and maybe added some less repetitive stuff and meaningful lyrics then it would be good. I'm just saying theres a little bit of talent on the music side.

It runs in my blood. xD
I grew listening to stuff like AC/DC, Metallica, KISS, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, and a few country and Southern Rock artists. I've grown up listening to pretty much rock music. I'm from Fairfax County, Virginia. The area where I live is basically the epitome of suburbia. Also, I'm mostly Swedish and Hungarian but I have some Italian, French and Irish in me.

there's a few rap songs i like (let's face it, who doesn't like that classic mc hammer song XD) but they are very few indeed. and like arios, my gangsta side is virtually non existant

I think it's actually quite funny that people find today's rap degrading.
It's just music, let it go.
You're supposed to have fun and dance to it.
Not sit there and contemplate the meaning behind it.
So what if that's the way they act?
It's them, not you, let them be.
It's what they want to do.
And if you don't like what's playing, turn it off.
Plain and simple, you have no reason to complain.

Yeah, I know I'm lazy, I take pride in it. Seriously, even if the song has a catchy beat, I won't dance to it unless I feel the right energy coming from it.
