Recently I was watching HitsuHIna Amv's
and a lot of the post said ''ewwwww Hinamori is hitsugaya's sister''
I was like WTF??? No they are not , I know there childhood friends but no where did it say that they are brother and sister, for gosh sake they don't even have the same last name.
Discuss: why do you think people think hitsugaya and hinamori are brother and sister ?

I've heard that too! They probably think they're brother and sister because Hitsugaya is very protective and some brothers are very overprotective of their sisters. Hitsugaya and Hinamori grew up together too, and if you don't pay attention then the flashbacks can make them look brother-sistery. I usually just ignore it...they'll all figure it out eventually.

I think it's because of their relative closeness in age and height, and the fact that they lived together, that everyone thinks they're related. @_@;;;

 i dont thik so they grew up together but not blood relative and it would seem wrong if they were so no they are not relative dont think so remember at first in the anime they let you know that the people that live in soul society adopt those that are alone like in the case of the paraket or wath ever it was so thas wath i think

Yea, people get the weirdest notions. Especially when they don't pay attention to details and explanations.
As of now, I can, 100% sure, say HITSUGAYA AND HINAMORI ARE NOT RELATED.

They and their grandmother made a seragant family. People seem to miss out on that little tid bit. The grew up like siblings but I have no problem with the loving each other. I think they'd make beautiful kids? White black and every shade of gray... For goodness sakes they are all over 150's old. xd

I disagree too but I think maybe it's because they're childhood friends and the fact the Hitsugaya is younger than Hinamori. But even so, in my opinion, they're much more than brother and sisters. I mean they're not even related in blood! They LOVE each other. 4laugh

I think that's the kind of relationship they have, but they are definitely not blood related.

they definetly are not related. that would just be wrong. i guess some people would think that if they don't really pay attention to they're relationship. to some, it may seem like they care for each other like a brother and sister do.
