After great distrust, realization, and Kenta's own little flair into the concotion of events, the majority of the heroes find themselves separated. They each have one goal: Destroy Kenta and Misonra to stop the world's destruction. Kenta, however, was having second thoughts as to what he should do in the world. Freezing himself within his chambers and giving Barbatos the order of finding Taro and the remnant rebels of Oberon, he awaits awakening. The rest of the heroes now are at a point where it is either up to them to fight or flee, and hope that tomorrow will come. Though the world of Elselia begins a darker note, 3 different groups still spawn a ray of hope to defeat the greatests evils. ...or is this all part of a much bigger plan...? Only time will tell...

Barbatos decided that the bizzarre cave might be where Taro was currently resting in... but that thought was quickly thrown off when he heard a voice.

"I assume you are looking for me,"

Barbatos turned around to see Taro giving him a blank stare, due to Taro's white pupil-less eyes.

"Of course," Barbatos said with a grin.
"Kenta's orders. I'm also responsible for looking for the remnant Oberon..."

Taro walked right past Barbatos, ignoring what he had to say.
"Hey!" Barbatos yelled.
"Don't make me have to fight you! You know the outcome!!"

"That's right," Taro said with a grin.
"I do. So I'd advise not fighting me."

This enraged Barbatos, so he charged at Taro with all his might. Taro lifted his index finger and used it to repel the axe completely.
"NANI?!" Barbatos yelled as he was forced back.
"When could you...?!"

"Secret," Taro said.
"Now if you excuse me. I need to go into this cave to look for something. The rest of the members you seek are at Heimdell, though I doubt a blood-thirsty killer like you would get in."

Taro walked began to walk into the cave, Barbatos charged again, but Taro made a large wall of ice appear at the entrance, blocking the attack and from Barbatos getting in.

"It's very dark in here," Taro said.
"You'd probably get lost unless you had no eyes. I trust all my other senses, you are reliant on your eyes... I'll see you later."

Arieta shrieked, running away from dozens of monsters that were coming her way. For some reason she'd been walking in a dark room with no walls or path to show her way. She casted ice needles several times but it lead no where, just a path down "Am I..Lost?" questioning before looking around her. The cave she was just in wasn't there anymore and at this point she didn't know where to go.

She sighed, sinking down to her knees and sat, lost, tired and obviously stuck.

"What, you giving up so soon? That's so typical of you"

"What??" Arieta stood, looking around but she saw nothing, that wasn't Fenrir's voice and it sure wasn't one she was familier with...was she?

"Isn't it? Your always giving up when things are like this, never able to actually succeed in completly a mission could you?"
"She's a failure, that's why Ichigo kicked her out. Her own daughter too"
"She might as well betry her comrads and die by their own hands

"Wait what?" confused again but the voices kept ringing, repeating the word 'useless' and 'failure'. Was this her fear? Afraid of being a burden to her companions? No, that couldn't have been, something like that would be too simple to lift a curse. "What do you mean!?" Arieta screamed, running down again after getting a small glimpse of what looked like a figure to her. "Tell me!!"

"10 years dear, 10 years ago you failed to kill him. I wonder if you will fail this time, you have no power to destroy Misonra"

"That's..that's not true"

"Is it? At your current state, your nothing but a simiple peasent to that one you call Kalz, he doesn't care no matter what you do to try and help but you'll always be in the way"

"They'll die by the hands of Misonra. Its only a matter of time before you all-"

"Don't you dare say that!" Arieta screamed, having about just enough of hearing they're bullshit and talking about death for them all. "Don't you dare talk about my comrade-, no my friends. You don't know them so don't talk as if you do! Kalz may not be the nicest person anybody knows but he does care even if things are bad or looks horrible he'll help! It may not be in his nature to but its in his soul somewhere. I don't know who or what you are but I've had enough. Disappear!!" The darkness left and she was back in the same cave, only this time it seemed to be normal size "Eh?" Arieta questioned, looking around "Am I really..?" examining herself all over and looked at her hands. An object flew toward her, glowing in a warm blue light and she grasped it. It was the same pendent she saw when she went to the water of truth, only, this one had a wolf engraved on it.

"Well done, It seemed you managed to overcome your own curse faster then I had expected"

Arieta blinked "Wait, what? You mean I'm really back? But how? I don't understand"

"Your fear, to be a burden, to be left alone, to not get somethign in return. Your fear to die on the battlefield by Misonra. By overcoming that it seemed you beaten his curse. Like I said, faster then I had expected considering your past life"

The girl stood silent, and nodded, tying the pendent around her neck and sighed. "What of the others? Are they the same as mine?" Fenrir shook his head "The rest is up to them, I cannot help anybody else. I'm sorry"
Arieta sighed, "We'll find away, one way or another we'll overcome these so called 'curse'" smiling as she gave a wink before turning her heel and walking back out.

"Wait!" Fenrir called, walking up to the girl "I will accompany you, that pendant belong to my mistress, but it seems that it has found its way to you, so therefore, I will accompany. Simply call if you need anything" Arieta blinked again and before she knew it, the wolf disappeared and into the gemstone. She blinked, shaking her head and turned, making her way out of the cave.

-----------------------------

It took them a while to get to Snow Furia, but once they did, Everything was fine. Chaltier looked around, making sure everyone got off and looked over at Leon "That's the last of them. Igtenos and Woodrow should be done too"

"Yea, the sooner we get these people to the kingdom the better"

The blonde jumped off, running over to his friends and followed by Woodrow. "Everything set? The soldiers can take care of everything else. No going back to oberon now" Leon nodded "Indeed, lets find the others. Perhaps we can assist them"

((man......my absense put a bit of a slowdown on things... ina different sector))

Agu: Gah! Ok.....deep breaths.....

Kyle: How long was he stuck like that, Tou-san?

Stahn: I think a good half an hour.

Agu: Maxwell. An evil force has been releashed upon the world. You remember how things were years ago, right? Well, since then, Kenta has gotten more powerful with some spirit or somethingrather named Misonra. If you would not mind, I would like to reform a pact with you with this ring.

Agu opened the box and he took out the Diamond Ring.

Agu: I who have taken the vow, grant me your power. My name is Wade N. Rivers...will you accept, Maxwell?

Iris: Oh right well... We just revived the amazing Mana Cannon! There are a few problems we need to talk about.

1. We can't fire it at Oberon since we don't know if Kenta/Misonra is there and we will be killing innocents in the process.

2. We lack summon spirits to power up the cannon.

3. We don't if Kenta/Misonra is going pull some cliche demi god move when we fire the cannon royally screwing us over.

Any suggestions?

"...wait, Agu, is that," Kyoko chuckled in between, "Is that seriously your real name?"

---

"Ah...Kalz, I'll wait for Arieta to come back. Daruki might have something for us."

The two left with the librarian. Ariana had found herself the only non-elf around.

"I guess there wasn't much of a reaction to what I said earlier. I think that's probably the first time that's happened." she said to herself, looking for more books., "I wonder how Taro-san's doing right now..."

"Hey, you!"

Ariana dropped her books as a boy out of nowhere popped in front of her.

"Sorry about that. But you...have you met a girl named Riri before?"

"W-wait...no I haven't, but I know someone whose name sounds like that. Who are you, exactly?"

At that point, Iris had mentioned her confirmation of the Mana Cannon.

"Kalz already mentioned that Kenta had used too much mana in the Hair Cult Wars with the Mana Cannons, and said not to use it. I would advise it against it myself. But...I think if you could create it to make it use fonons, then..."

"Wait! It's Kurando Hyuuga, and Natsume Hyuuga. Don't just leave us hanging like that!"

"Oh. I'm Ariana. Nice to meet you. Anyways..."

"We're being ignored again..."

"...fine...I'm just trying to say something to Iris right now...so. Oh, I know. Could you check in the Origin Inn on Room 34 on a guy named Taro? He's been out cold for a while."

The brothers shrugged, knowing that she'd just ignore them, and walked otu the door.

"Anyway, I think if you use fonons instead of mana, it's easier to control them when aiming at one point, and that's exactly what we need. But that's just my opinion."

---
"Why is it were ignored half the time, anyway?"

"That's just how it is," Natsume replied, opening the door to the inn.

Kurando greeted the receptionist as they walked in. "Hello, miss~! We've been commisioned by someone to check on a guy named Taro in Room 34?"

"Hm? He left," she replied, "I don't know where, I just know that's his name from the people who left him here."

((I'm going to go ahead and post, even though I'm not near done with the reading. The kiddies are currently gone.))

"It appears . . . I might be needed at this time."

"Are you sure?"

"Not entirely. However, I've stayed out of this conflict as long as is allowed of me. I have not chosen my side yet. Perhaps it is best for you to, Origin."

Origin's form stared back at him blankly with no response, then finally faded into the air as if he never were there, which was not too far off from the truth.

The black wolf stretched along the large branch after sitting idly for a good time up in the Elven tree. Along his slender foreleg was a blue, engraved anklet with a faintly glowing green gem embedded in it. The pact ring of Origin. He had possessed it for 15 years now, having gradually gained the trust of Origin and trying hardest not to abuse it. He jumped down from the height to meet the Eternal Swordsman who rested against the bottom of the tree.

Lloyd yawned and came to stand straight up, stretching his arms out in the process. He looked down at the ebony beast whom he'd worked with for 15 years now.

"Well, Vargo, what have you two decided?" he said aloud but softly.

"Nothing, yet, but I will in due time. Origin is quiet on the matter, as usual," Vargonifir spoke directly to Lloyd, "Might you have an idea as to where we should step in?"

"You're asking me? It's my belief you've quite a few more brain cells than I do, so I don't know why you're asking me."

"You're good at these things. You always have been. You seem to always know where it is best to place your heart."

Lloyd saw slight reason in this, but only slight. "Maybe so, but truth be told, I don't know any better than you do at the moment. Let's look into matters a little further."

"Alright. In the meantime I'll stay in this form. I can remain more inconspicuous that way."

"Right." Lloyd rubbed his hand on Varg's head for a moment to tease him before departing, trying to put a little light on the situation. The two went off in separate directions in Heimdall.

Yeah, Kurai took orders from a rock.

The FCII continued its hasty descent, with Krii totally not caring if they crash landed into the rocks below. (But then again, Jay!Boulder would feel right at home, eh?)

With only the skill that only she could posses, the sage landed the craft easily (but she did manage to scratch the bottom of it. Aw well).

She unhooked her seatbelt--yes--and reached out for the rock. "This better be good, Jay!Boulder." Was all she muttered before jumping out of the FCII.

"He's over there." That didn't really help, since he didn't have any HANDS.

"He...? Who the..." Kurai's voice trailed off before she dropped Jay!Boulder to the ground. "Oh my...Rid?! O___o is that you?"

And THAT was a screech, not a yell.

---

Zelos just snorted and closed his eyes, "Like he has the power of persuasion." He let a moment of silence pass before he reopened his eyes, sending both father and son an arrogant look.

"I'm not about to waste my time or energy--the little I would use--on you two. I have other, more important things to do than dealing with children."

The former Chosen clicked his tongue once before slowly ascending the steps, "If I were you, I'd get the hell out of my house before Kurai gets home." He warned before slamming the door shut.

((OMG!!!! WELCOME BACK VARG!!!!! 8DDDD))

Agu: ? Yes.....why do you ask?

Loni: *snicker* You STILL don't get it?

Kyle and Stahn were both trying despirately to keep a straight face, for this was the first they heard his real name as well. They couldn't hold it in and burst out in laughter.

((I originally made it as a joke a long time back, but i grew attached to the name, Wade))

"Ha...ha....BUHEKKUSHOI!" Sarai sneezed, almost whacking her head on the floor. You know how sometimes when people sneeze their head is thrown forward? A light layer of dust whiffed off her as she straightened herself out and cracked her back. "What have all you yahoos been doing in our absence from reality, due to our state of being in suspended animation? Wait, when were we in suspended animation? WHERE'S CUST?! WTF?!?!"

Luke, on the other hand, was handling the situation much better. "AAAAAAAH! TALKING HEAD?! OMFG!" he was shouting and pulling on his short, yet long, hair.

Eventually, though, the two calmed down--they finally regained their senses (?).

...

The 1337 SCINTIST cleared her throat as she whipped out a communicator all cool-like, and dialed Kratos' communication device that he never knew he had.

"So, Kratty-Patty, what's shaking?"

"I-I hate ghosts...D:<" Luke mumbled, hugging himself.

"Then..."

Maxwell twirled his staff in one hand like a baton, then held it in both in an offensive pose.

"I suggest you prepare yourselves!"

He charged towards the group and wasted little time at all. Right from the get-go, he surrounded the group with two duplicates in a triangular pattern and let loose a Thunder Blade.

Taro walked further into the cave until he came upon a familiar face.

"Arieta...?" Taro asked.
"That is to say... hmm... Were we ever properly introduced? (Other than back when---)"

Just as Taro started his words, Arieta's curse kicked back in.

"...uhm..." Taro said.
"Okay... that's weird. Well, looks like you've broken most of it for now. None of the curses... sad to say... can be fully deflected unless Kenta is destroyed. I guess because I sort of am Kenta... it re-activated...? Probably. Once I leave everything should be fine."

He looked back at the small girl.

"Oh," Taro said.
"Barbatos is outside of the cavern, and very ticked off. So do be careful."

Taro continued further on into the cave, leaving Arieta behind as he needed to do something on his own. How did he know of all the current events though? ...that Celestial Force probably had a lot to do with it.

~

He finally approached a large crater where the Water of Truth should have been, but it was near dry. Just a tiny morsel of water was left.

"But this is why I came..." Taro said.
"SPLASH!"

Taro casted his water-based spell and began to mix the last remnants of the truth water with the spell he just casted. It created a small pond-like watery substance now. He continued to cast his spell until the spring was half full. All that spell casting had taken a lot out of him, plus the water needed to remix with itself to re-create the needed water.

"Heh," Taro said.
"If what I think and what Kenta said is right about this..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yuan had finally made his way (into my posts) into the Moria Gallery. He was busy browsing areas when he saw the main group. ...he quickly hid behind a conveniently placed rock and watched the show.
"What's Maxwell...?" he questioned, still hiding.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Heimdell eh?" Barbatos said, turning around to see the direction Taro came from.
"Perhaps I should pay those peace-sap morons a visit. If what Lord Kenta says will happen, it doesn't how many people I have a little... "fun" with, fufufufu... ga hahahahah!!"

((Now I have more of a reason to check here more often!))

Agu: Now this is what I am talking about!!

Agu sang the second verse of the Fonic Hymns, but in an accutive lower than Tear. The Force Field went up and prevented everyone from taking any damage.

Stahn: Ikuzo! Minna! Bokutachi wa...

All: Makenai!!!

Loni: Chire! Spread out your attacks! Kuuha Kodoudan!

Kyle: Slash Fang!

Stahn: Flare Tornado!

Agu: The rest of you handle that other one and help them. I'll take on the real one. Let's bring out the big guns first, eh Maxwell? We'll see if your age caught up to you! Meteor Swarm!!!!

Arieta merly blinked then landed on her bottom again when Taro left. "Ok, that is REALLY weird...so its partially gone???" she complained, rubbing her head. Well, least this way she was able to walk around on her own. As soon as she was told Barbatos was outside, she decided to wait a few before actually going out there. She heard a laughter from outside and immedietly got up, running toward where the laugh was heard and Arieta was right, it was Barbatos. Taking a detour she came from the back of the village got back to the library "eh? They're not here?" she questioned, the corner of her eye caught sight of Ariana and she immediatly ran out, patting her on the shoulder. "Ariana, where did Kalz and the other go? We need to leave, now"
PostPosted: Wed May 30, 2007 2:03 pm

"Yo~" Barbatos said, completely ignoring the elven guards at the Heimdell gates.
"Boku wa--- Ahem... I've come here to see the ones under curses of Kenta. ...so you can put your arrows down. I state my word that I will not harm any of you... at least... for now."

Barbatos looked around to see all of the elves about to fire at him regardless. He just gave off a demonic grin and laughed.

"You really think you can beat me?" he boasted.
"I somehow doubt that. I've only come here to test certain individuals as per Kenta's orders. Is that understood?! If you wish to throw your lives away, go ahead!! I'll take you on if you so badly wish to challenge me!!"

Barbatos gave a dark stare into all of them, and they lowered their weapons.
"So~" Barbatos said.
"Anyone care to tell me where I might find these misfit heroes...?"

Vargonifir smiled in a way unbecoming of a wolf.

"Barbatos Goetia . . . " he thought, sensing the familiar presence. He kept to the shadows as he bounded onto some wooden crates at the back of a house and up onto the roof. There he had a clear view of Heimdall's entrance and the surrounding peremisis. Lloyd was soon after.

"Barbatos? What the hell is he doing here?" Lloyd questioned.

"It doesn't really matter," Varg answered dismissively.

"What do you mean it doesn't matter? It's Barbatos." Lloyd was being careful not to be too loud.

"Because it doesn't concern us."

"How do you know?"

"I can tell. I've stayed out of conflict too long, so in all rights they've probably taken a blind eye to me by now. The same goes for you. I like it better this way, though. Indifference gives me more room to work."

"And what about the elves? What if their village is threatened?" Lloyd was getting frustrated.

Varg smiled, "I fail to see where that's my problem."

Lloyd was astonished, "Wha-"

"I'm the guardian of Origin, not the guardian of the elves. If he does present a substantial threat to the Ymir forest, that's when it's my turn. Otherwise, I say for the elves to clean up their own messes. If their village is threatened, and we don't even know if it is for sure, then it's their problem. I hate to reiterate myself, but I need you to understand this."

"Yeah, I got ya . . . " Lloyd finally backed down. He saw no further point in arguing.

"Let's just watch for now. It may tell us something."
