ok. so i was doodling today at about 9 aM and i came up with an idea after drawing THIS: Pride Lands Needs a pokemon event. And i will Gladly host/organize it. Below are more posts about my idea...(bear with me...i'm half-asleep and excited!!!)

Ok, here's the big thing. i don't have Photoshop, but i do NOT want to not be part of this event if it happens. If it does happen, the only thing i ask is credit for the idea and maybe something else i have in mind...but i don't want to push everyone too far.
#1- i will do the edits, send them to someone who will make the edits on the computer to be used for coloring.
#2- There should be a flat, auction, Raffle and RP contest.
#3- i really want to be the one to decide what pokemon should go up. if this isn't ok...that's fine...
#4- maybe a wee bit of the profits?

Pokeomon i've done. This girl is my own pokemon that i've had since silver and Gold came out. I ask that no one ask for and she is only up for editing demos.  this girl will probably be an auction or Raffle. i love her to death D:  Only the Charizard applys here.....the Aerodactyl didn't come out so well... Charizard should be an auction  This one took forever, but i'm hoping she'll be a a raffle  And the adult Stage of the meowth biggrin

Actually Rhea, Alex & I had already thought this up & were planning to bring it up.
However we decided on bringing up the X-men event possibility first because there's less than 500 of them that are well-known.

As Tolli said, we briefly talked about it, but there are so many Pokemon that it kinda got bumped down on things to further discuss, because with X-Men there are quite a bit fewer that are well-known. Don't worry, though, it will be brought up eventually. There are just - like Doodle said - other events being discussed and worked on at the moment so it's not a priority.

You can't quite call it all your own idea. I think it's safe to say that at some point a lot shops have an event based off pokemon. sweatdrop Wouldn't be quite right, being as many well known shops have been having pokemon events, so you could see one, call it your idea, and get credit. Not quite right. I could see partial credit for helping with designs though.

Yeah, and even then there's only so much credit you can be given there as well, because it's the pokemon's design, you've just managed to take it and put it onto a lion's lineart. Any colorist you ask to do a pokemon would probably come up with pretty much the same design that you have.
