Can anyone summarize the main stories?

Angel moves to LA, where he starts a "detective" business. He is joined by a half demon named Doyle, who gets visions from "The Powers That Be" that show him people who are in trouble. Cordelia soon joins them. Later, Doyle dies and he passes his power on to Cordelia. Wesley joins them. Charles Gunn joins them. Winifred "Fred" Burkle joins them.
They fight lots of evil fiends and constantly try to thwart the plots of an evil law firm named Wolfram & Hart. Wolfram & Hart resurrect Darla (Angel's vampire ex-lover and sire that he killed in Buffy) and use her to try and get to Angel. He sleeps with her, then kicks her out. She reappears later, pregnant with his child. The child is born, but stolen by an old foe of Angel's and taken to another dimension. He comes back later as a young man and tries to kill Angel.
A thing called the Beast appears and blocks out the sun. Angel turns evil again and Faith makes an appearance. They kill the beast and Angel gets his soul back. Cordelia "gives birth" to a God-like woman called Jasmine, who brings peace to all mankind, but at a high price: everyone is basically her slave, and she eats people. Once again, Angel and crew save the day, but Cordelia is in a coma.
The main people that run Wolfram & Hart turn the law firm over to Angel and his friends, hoping to subvert them. They give Angel's son, Conner, a new life with no memory of Angel, or anything else from his previous life. Lots of things happen (more monsters to fight), Spike shows up after being "killed" on Buffy. Cordelia dies. Fred is possessed by an ancient and powerful demon called Illyria, who basically takes over and the Fred we know dies. Angel decides to stop the Apocalypse from happening by taking out this big group of bad guys that are trying to make it happen. There are lots of fights, Wesley dies, they end the show on sort of a cliff hanger.

Yeah, the first season was pretty straight forward, but then they started throwing in multiple story arcs after that. It was kinda like Buffy in that respect. Both shows started off with a lot of standalone episodes, but then evolved into the season long storylines with only a few filler episodes.

yea angel can be confusing if u havnt seen any of it before... or if u watch it out of order... cuz it has characters from buffy going in and out of it and stuff and it gets confusing quick... but its a cool show for sure

*raises hand* still not a huge fan of David but i am so in love with Drusilla and i know she had a few cameos, right?
