This thread is intended for introductions.
I know, that comes as a surprise, but please hold your questions until I am finished.
This is your chance to impress people. To babble about yourself as much as you like. You can give links. You can provide RP samples. Talk about what you RP or what you don't. Whatever. --Only. Please. Keep it to one post.
Make it simple, make it fancy, there are no guidelines, there are no profile layouts. You're all elitist assholes advanced enough to think for yourselves.
Just remember, people will see this, and the impression it gives may be the deciding factor in whether or not they want to RP with you, or recruit you for their awesome RP.If you'd rather not receive random invites or PMs, please note such, prominently, in your post. And mind this request, if you see it.
Also, please refrain from replying to introductions. I prefer to keep this thread neat and concise. Some people may use it as a list of names to recruit from. Idle chatter in the middle is only a nuisance. There are better places for it.

I'm Twenty-three and have been RPing since my freshman year in Uni, back in 02. ...I was 17. God, I was young once. Anyway. Started with pen and paper (D&D to my chagrin) then progressed to online RPing. By now I've tried most everything. Including LARP (also to my everlasting shame.)
I was/am/will be studying Architecture at Uni, though I now plan to pick up a major in Linguistics as well. And fit in as much History as possible.
I enjoy music of most sorts, learning to play intruments- though I'm not really any good at any of those that I've tried.
I like food and drink.
I appreciate sports though I'm no better at them than I am playing music.

Maybe now, seven odd months after making the post should edit it.
To everyone you can call me Ghost because I know none of you can be bothered typing out the incorret spelling of Assasain as well.
I am currently seventeen, six months until legal drinking age, and I have been RPing since something like 2004, so coming up on 3 years or so now.
I started as a useless retard with eight or nine words in a post with lots of little * * going on everywhere. I have lately rapidly increased my post length and quality now getting between 500-1000 words per post per character I play.
Recently I have taken to RPs that allow for multiple characters with minimal profile writing and prettiage. I just really hate writing personalities for characters that in my RPs I have abolished any extended form of Profiles beyond the bare minimum.
Before I finished school this year I was part of the debating team and close to making it onto the state. (Read: I like argueing with people.)
I would like to finish this little intorductory post with: Multipass.

That's hardly an intro.
I'm Lydia, and I got banned from that evil guild also known as Synamaic Darkness cause I was being my bitchy self.
Yes, I'm a b***h (sometimes at least).
And did you know, that I was thinking of selling something just to start an anti Synamaic Darkness guild?
But.
I've yet to really introduce myself.
I like to write. And read. And listen to music.
But my friends are most important to me.
I love multi tasking. Currently I've got 4 windows open, and six tabs open in my IE window.
(Someone in SD still: could you tell me what Corpse Grinder posted in response to my post in the "The Guild is in the Shitter" topic? I was banned before I could read it, and I'm incredibly curious)

I'm Luxx. I'm generally pretty quiet and reserved. I'll probably do more lurking than posting, but then again, this is gaia... I have built most of my moral values on the code of chivalry, meaning I value honor, honesty, hard work, and respect.
As for where I come from... I'm one of the members of Synamic Darkness. And while I don't always agree with some of the decisions the mods there make, I have come to have great respect for them over the past six months. Of course, I did have the option to become a mod, but that's not why I respect them. I'm not going to get too big in details now, but I'd just like to say that I hope this guild can be successful as well.

Hello, all. I'm Toxius V. Stephanopolis. Feel free to call me Tox or Toxi, but I'm not fond of when people misspell my name as Toxious or Toxic.
Video/computer games are my main passion. My taste in music, movies, and television are varied and generally bizarre. If you talk to me about sports I'll probably simply nod my head agreeingly at you, as I most likely don't know what you're talking about.
I'm somewhat familiar with roleplaying, most of my experience comes from text based MUDs and the like. (For those of you unfamiliar with the term, think "Complex, multi-roomed role playing chat room.")
I've been in a few forum role plays, but they all suffered from poor organization and quickly went belly up.
I also play Second Life, under the same name, except without the middle initial. If you play, feel free to seek me out, I tend to give away free cheap stuff I've made and show off my numerous avatars.
I also sprite. I used to be horrible, but lately I've started spriting from scratch, rather than using a base, and my work has finally started to come to fruition.
Well, it's nice to be here, and thanks for the invite, Ffaux. I can't wait to see things pick up.

Welp, my first name is Marie-Elizabeth, which is freakishly long in my opinion. You can call me Marie, Elizabeth, Lizzy, Liz, Mary, Beth, Squirrel, or anything else. You can even call me Stupid(although I might not like that as much and I might go all ninja on you).
I'm 14.
I've been rping since I was 12. Whoo, fun. I really sucked when I started out, but now, its all good! (I think...)
I wasn't banned from Synamic Darkness to my own surprise. (I was getting pretty rebellious. I thought about blackmailing MK...)
I like Medieval rps the best, although future ones are pretty cool, too. I am literate, despite what some of my peers think. I was having lots of fun in an rp in Synamic Darkness, until the forum was closed, and then I cried. Not really, I didn't cry, I just let out a colorful stream of curse words towards someone who has the initials of MK. (Is that mean?)
Sugar is one of my favorite things, which is bad I guess. (Pshaw, whatever) I like most music cept rap and country. I'm an okay person all around, although you wouldn't want to be around me if I were hyper and mad at the same time(Then I'm like a grunny with rabies and I do bite). Oh yea, and my favorite color is purple.
PS- I'm a random person in OOC, although whenever I rp, I'm pretty serious. Thanks, Ffaux for the lovely invite, I won't let you down, and I can't wait for more people!

Ello all I'm Drago, Real name Will but everyone usually just calls me Wolfy what I'm used to most ha ha or Drago is fine hell even Will XD up to you I don't mind.
Well I do enjoy to Rp most of my char are based on Medieval setting or in present time, I've been rping for like hmm maybe 3 years so? I'm not the greatest but I feel I'm alright at it.
I do love music my main taste leans in Metal and Celtic. I play Guitar,Tenor Sax,classical bass, trying to see if I can get my hands on a piano see if I can learn that as well, maybe the harp O_o and cello! boy do I love the cello ha ha!
but anything else you would like to find out just talk to me I'm always up for conversation whether random or not just to even say hey hows ya day.
