 Okay, so I nabbed this from the Naruto Spoilers Thread. Although the coloring itself is probably not mentioning in the story and therefore no story spoilers, I put up the spoilers tag just in case. So, anyway, what do you think? Yay? Nay? Personally, it shocked me. I would've preferred black, but I think I'll get used to it. Now, I'm just wondering if Karin's glasses are purple and match perfectly with Suigetsu's shirt.

I'd have to say nay.Red hair, absloutly looks aweful on Karin!XD
The whole skit looks like it's colored in by markers.There are many versions of Karin.I've seen where her hair is black,brown, or even purple.I highly doubt her hair color is red.Even if it is, I would preferred it being black.<3

Hm, I really really think Karin's hair color is black.
I mean if it were red, wouldn't the black and white pages of the manga color her hair white, or a light shade of gray?
Take Gaara or Sasori for instance; both their hair are red, and in the manga, their hair is printed in white, not black =T
But hey who knows? xD

I'm hearing some rumors that the picture might be fan-colored, but I'm not too sure. We'll just have to wait and see. I preferred the black too, but Kishimoto's style doesn't seem to do the whole color-in-hair-with-screentones thing. Well, at least the manga is in black and white. We'll just have to deal with bright-haired animated Karin.

Is the spoiler site accurate? Could it be someone coloring and thinking it would work best (is she from the Hidden Sand?)
Do we even know what village she's from?

Rofl, now that you mention it, it does look a bit like Tayuya's hair XD.
Man, even wikipedia is starting to say that Karin's hair is red D:

Now, if the anime does color her hair this way, will anyone think any different of her?

It's funny that team Hebi, has some kind of purple theme going on.Juugo's outfit has purple, along with Suigetsu,Karin, and Sasuke.You would think Kishimoto would put more thought into his character's colors.Perhaps, he made them that way for a reason.
It's not uncommon for them to change the hair color in the anime.I've seen it done several times before.Perhaps, they will change Karin's hair color.If not, oh well.

Karin is still Karin, and she's still my favorite female character.So her red/orange hair doesn't change a thing for me!<3
