This RPG takes place 10 years AFTER the events in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End". Also, we are going by the assumption (and the interview with Rossio and Elliott) that the curse of the Dutchman was broken by how true Will and Elizabeth stayed to one another. Thus, when Will was returning home ten years later (scene after the credits of the film), he was returning home for good. He's still the Dutchman's captain, but now he can be with Elizabeth and their son, William Turner (yeah, too many Wills). This RPG starts out with Will's return (which was seen after the credits of the film), as well as Jack and Barbossa in Tortuga AFTER Jack "broke" the Fountain of Youth. heart

Will Turner stood on the railing of teh Flying Dutchmen's bow, his body straining and leaning forward as his brown eyes surveryed the island spread out before him. On the rope that he was holding onto kept the young man from loosing his balance completly and falling over the chip's railing he was paerched upon.
He could see them..two figures in the distance on the island. Waiting for him. Will's heart gave a great leap as his eyes fully registered the smaller figure. He knew Elizabeth was the taller one, their was no doubt in his mind, but then the smaller one must be...
The ship could not get to the shore quickly enough. -----
Ashlin Hawthorne knew she was going to catch it today. Not only was she skirting her daily shore duties, not only was she runnign around unchapperones, but she was doing it in pants!. A girl her age was simple NOT allowed to wear boy's clothes. It just wasn't done.
Ashlin thought girl clothes were stupid, bothersome and totally impossible to climb a tree in. She never wore dresses when she went to see Will, the ten-year-old son of Elizabeth Turner. Because she liked to pretend she was just another boy with Will. Because girls just didn't get to have many adventures, that's why.
It was only when she finally got to the house of the Turner's that Ashlin remembered neither Will nor his mother were their today. Will had mentio he and his mother were doing something today. Something important. Something private. They had been awefully evasive about it.
"Will Turner, if you go off and have an adventure without me...." Ashlin muttered darkly, "I am so goign to keel-haul you."

(((OOC: I have an idea... We call Bootstrap, Bill... we call Will, Will... and we call Will Jr., William! That way, we won't get them confused! TOO MANY WILLS!)))
~~~
"Mother... I'm kind of... well... nervous." Elizabeth smiled, one hand holding back her long hair as the wind blew it fiercely about her face. "Nervous?" William Turner Jr. stood at his mother's side, his brown eyes watching the boat that was making its way toward shore. "I just... What if father doesn't like me?" Kneeling next to the child, Elizabeth frowned. "How could he not like you? He loves you, William. Your father loves you very much." "But he's never even seen me." William replied, a frown to match his mother's own appearing on his face. Elizabeth shook her head, "Your father will love you more than anything, William. I promise. If... if he doesn't," and at this the woman smiled. "If he doesn't, I'll let you stay up as late as you want, and eat all of the sweets you want, for a month. Deal?" The woman presented one hand to the boy. Starring up into his mother's eyes, William nodded, shaking her hand. "Deal." Elizabeth smiled, "Now, lets go meet him. Alright?" Together, the little family headed in the opposite direction of the town's port. The Flying Dutchman would hardly be able to land in such a place without raised questions, and the more time that Elizabeth and William had with Will, the better. After all... they had but a single day.
Will's breath was caught in his throat as The Flying Dutchman approached the beach. When the ship could go no further, Will did not bother himself wih a boat to take him to the beach. No, the man just dived right into the water and began swimming to the shore. Elizabeth was right there waiting for him. And so was his child. His child!
((OOC: I was going to say Will's heart was pounding in excitment and then I was like "wait, that's not gonna work...."))
(((OOC: OH GEEZ THAT MADE ME GIGGLE! *falls over laughing still* "Wait, that's not gonna work..." HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!)))
"Will..." Elizabeth whispered as she saw him dive from the Flying Dutchman's bow. She could hardly contain her excitement. Every fiber of the woman's being was tense and anxious, her thoughts on one thing and one thing alone. Her husband was back. The man who had saved her... who had stolen her heart... and given her his own. William stood slightly behind his mother, watching the boat coming ever closer. It would dock offshore, the boy knew, for he had seen ships do the same thing when the port was full many times before. Just as his mother, William was anxious, though for perhaps a different reason.
When Will finally touched solid ground, her broke into a run. At that moment, he was completly oblivious to anythign and everything that was or could be going on around him. There was only Elizabeth. Elizabeth and their child. He had thought, he had hoped that he might have left her with a child of his for her to remember him by for the long ten years.
Tne years without Elizabeth. Ten long years. It had seemed more like an eternity.
(((OOC: I've been torn on how to do this... Should Liz and little Will stay where they are, should Liz run to Will, should little Will and Liz run to Will... but I think this is the right course...)))
~~~
Her eyes could not move from the figure that approached. He looked just as she remembered him. Taller than her, his long dark brown hair hung in curls about his face due to the salty spray of the sea. A grey bandana kept those curls from his piercing brown eyes, eyes that she found herself easily lost within. Around his neck were those same necklaces, his white shirt open halfway in the front. "Will..." And thus, Elizabeth could hold back no longer. Quickly she rushed down the beach toward Will. Behind her, William remained. He knew his mother had waited many years for this moment, and he did not wish to intrude. But at finally seeing his father... William felt suddenly nervous, moreso than he had ever been in his life. Would his father love him? Hate him? The boy knew that Will would leave at the sunset, which saddened him. This man had been gone for ten years, for all of William's life. The poor boy knew not what to think.

Will caught Elizabeth midstride, lifting her up into the air and spinning the woman around. Ten years had not seemed to touch Elizabeth at all..she was exactly the way he remembered her. His mouth met hers and he kissed the woman, willing himself to drown in the sight and feel of her.
This was what he had waited ten years for. This is what he had died to protect. This woman in front of him made any and every suffering worth it. This woman who held Will's heart, literally and figuratively.
The man chocked back tears as his fingers ran through that familiar long hair. Ten years...ten years too long.
"Elizabeth," he whispered, holding her tightly to him as if he was afraid a gentle breeze would carry the woman away from him. -----
Ashlin was wandering the island, traying to find a good strecth of beach to practice her pebble skipping. She was planning on showing William all the practice he missed when he came back from whever-he-was tommorow. Well, after she pounced on him and dragged him through her own made-up adventures. Even though she was small for her age, William was even smaller. That eant she had both senoirity and...well...bigger-ority, or whatever.
Ashlin's little mouth skrewed up in a tiny scowl. She missed not beign abel to play with William. He was her only friend on the whole island. And his mom seemed to be the only grown-up that didn't got ballistic if Ashlin wore pants. Because girl clothes were stupid.

Elizabeth met that kiss with an equal passion of her own. Her hands tangled in the man's hair, pulling him even closer to her. She couldn't get enough. The woman had dreamt of this moment every night for the past ten years. "I've missed you so much..." Elizabeth whispered, her arms wrapped around the pirate once their kiss had been broken. But then she remembered... Pulling back, Elizabeth smiled as her gaze met that of her husband. "Someone wants to meet you, Will." she said, turning to look at the boy who had hung back.

Will swalloed as he tore his gaze from Elizabeth and looked at his child...his son..for the very first time with wonder and love in his brown eyes...eyes that mirrored his son's almost exactly.
Words failed the man at that moment. What to say to this, this wonderful child of his and Elizabeth's love that he had not seen, not been able to see or to raise in ten years? Even if he had found words, his throat was constricted so tightly, he doubted he'd even be able to get them out.
He swept his son into a hug, holding the boy gently against his own body, as if to reassure himself that the boy was in fact, real. He stopped trying to hold back his tears and let them fall as he held his child for the very first time.

The singing in the Mermaid's arms had reached a cresendo as the drunken men that stood upon a near by table yelled out the lusty drinking song while their fellow patrons fought below them, punches being thrown left, right and center though the people involved seemed not to know what they where fighting over, never mind where they where or who they where. Yes it was a typical day in a typical tavern on the island of Tortuga, one of the few free islands in the caribbean sea.
Jenna sighed lightly, for the woman this was a usual haunt, ever since the Singing Treasure had sunk she had been without a ship, sure she had not been a captain but as an ex first mate she had thought that it might be easy to find another ship to serve on, obviously not, the Shining treasure had been the only female crewed pirate ship in the Caribbean and now she was in a man's world amongst superstitious men whom thought it was bad luck to have a woman on board.
Shaking her head she lifted a full tankard of rum to her lips, watching the man patrons as they fought wondering what would happen to her now.
