Yup, the title says it all.
What kind of music do you listen to?
What kind of music do you hate?
Who's your favorite band/artist?
etc...
I LOVE Rock. Almost every type. Light Rock, Soft Rock, Classical Rock (no, its not classical music, think something like The Who), Rock n Roll, Rock, SOME Alternative Rock...=3
I have alot of bands I listen to, but right now I'm currently obsessed with Maroon 5, Eric Clapton, Tommy Emmanuel, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Santana. =3
I really dislike Rap. REALLY. O.o
As well as metal, emo, and some pop. I'm not really into Hip Hop either.

J-pop and J-rock for me!
I like HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, Asian Kung-fu Generation, L'arc~en~ciel, and Orange Range. I also like m-flo, Hamasaki Ayumi, and Utada Hikaru. There are also the sugary pop music groups, like Morning Musume, that have a special place in my heart and my ipod. ^-^
Korean music is also good, like Clazziquai Project and BoA.
I like some American groups, like Maroon 5, but I don't tend to follow the trends in music.
I hate rap with a passion. I can handle m-flo's J-rap, but they have great vocalists singing along.
I also can't handle country.
Lately, I've really been into videogame and classical music. Like the music used in Final Fantasy or Hayao Miyazaki films. ^-^
Oh, and visual kei scares me. ^^;

I love all rock music! the only stuff I don't like much is hard rock....some metal is good....but most of it I don't like...
I absolutely hate rap and hip hop....who wants to hear about some black guy popin' a shell into some one? I mean come on.....or some one scoring with some chick....really....if I seem racist by saying this I don't mean to be....but still....it's retarded....

I don't think rap is retarded; it is its own type of music with beats and tempo...but I just hate the sounds and how they sing, and the lyrics...most rap songs have swear words in them, and that irritates me.
No idea why, though...D';

I agree with Shimizu-san. Rap isn't all that bad, but in the US, the lyrics are vulgar and unpleasant, and the sound is a lot more coarse and obnoxious. That's why I like m-flo so much; they incorporate rap beats and rythems into energetic songs with melodic vocalists. And their lyrics are a lot cleaner, too.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I am a fan of 80's music, and Motown. I blame my choir class. My teacher only had sheet music from the 80's.
