Kakashi and Naruto - the Team 7 pairing that is, no doubt, the least noticed. The development between them doesn't seem obvious, but it's there.N a v i g a t i o n [Welcome]

KakaNaru Reasoning
My reason for liking KakaNaru is really Kakashi's feelings. At the beginning of the series, he always had faith in Naruto, even though he had a inflated head and wasn't exactly very strong. Because Kakashi understood about the nine-tails, he was cautious - but he didn't treat Naruto badly, he treated him like he would any other student. He showed no anger or frustration, just understanding.
With the rest of the team, Kakashi would stand up for Naruto, and understand him, while everyone else around them scoffed him off, thinking he hadn't changed since the academy days - he had faith in him.
Naruto also seemed to really like Kakashi. Not romantically, of course, but he seemed to trust him with Sasuke and Sakura, and also seemed to look up to Kakashi, as an idol - and can you blame him? Part of Naruto always wanted to be able to beat Kakashi, and Kakashi knew that someday that would happen, and Naruto would obtain that goal, just like he'd obtained his other goals.
And he would obtain other goals as well, in the near future.
After the time-skip, Team 7 is no longer led by Kakashi, but by Yamato. Naruto and Sakura are told that they are now equals to Kakashi, and that they make up the students of Team 7 now.
And Naruto still pokes fun at Kakashi, still teases him, and has matured (in a way). Now he has knowledge of the outside perverted world - just like Kakashi.
Oh Naruto, how will anyone keep you from turning into a REAL second Jiraiya...?
