Exam #3 - The Finals

Ok the way we'll pick who goes first is as follows: Whoever didn't start the last fight gets the option to attack first this time.

However even if you win you may opt for your opponet to act first.

Be sure to read up on the Grid system in the newest post in the sign-up. If you have any questions please post them in that thread cause I'm sure I left stuff out that you may want to know ^.^

PS: Since this is the next day you are able to heal back 50% of whatever damage you recieved the day before. However you are unable to re-stock your equipment so whatever you used last round can't be replaced. Good luck!

As soon as the test began Zanzu shouted out at Akira, "I'm not going to let it turn out like last time...PREPARE YOURSELF!" then quickly reached into his cloak and launched off the all too familiar assault of senbons.

Akira ran foward swerving left and right as he tried to avoid the incoming senbon. After the last one passed him he pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it in the direction of Zanzu without missing a beat.

Defensive Action: Evade (9 + 5= 14, successful, move to 5F one area)
Offensive Action: Throw Smoke Bomb (10 + 4 = 14 to hit )

Zanzu spotted the small smoke bomb just in time and leaped back out of the way staying clear from the smoke which was now between the two, he then pulled out his soldier pill and popped it into his mouth. Helped turn the tides of the battle last time...perhaps it will do the same for me...

Akira jumped back, and began trying to figure out Zanzu's next move holding the tiger seal as he did so to calm himself down and keep himself still. The soldier pill would be best for close ranged combat, something he's trying to avoid, unless he's changing his tactics completely know. What could he be up to? His excitable mannurism at the beginning of the fight as well as the flurry of senbon, where they a distraction? C'mon you know him well enough to figure this out. If I work through his last fight and every other fight I've seen him in, I think I can figure this out, and avoid whatever comes my way.

Action: (Move to 3F, two area)
Offensive Action: Analyze ( 4 + 6 = 10, success +1 to Defense vs. Zanzu)

Hmm...he moved out of range, smart decision...knowing Akira he probably trying to come up with some sort of a plan or he's putting too much thought into my actions, wonder what hes trying to plan...I know how he tries to defend against attacks, but this...hes trying to stay out of range of my attacks. He noticed how bad last fight turned out for him all because i kept it ranged, If i can keep it ranged this will be my battle...but above all else i have to prevent him from using that blasted grappling on me again, that took me out of the last fight no doubt... Zanzu moved a bit closer to Akira making sure to keep plenty of range between the two.

Alright let's see knowing him he'll stick to the same tactic as before. Senbon after Senbon after Senbon. Of course the soldier pill could be a last line of resort you know if I get near. Of course if an opponent's going all offensive you can cut through his line and change the flow of his tactics. I wonder if I can change the power of his own tactic against him and just overtake him. Akira kept the same position his eyes now closed as he began to think of counter-meassures in his head against Zanzu.

Zanzu began to slowly gain a little more insight of Akira's actions. Hmm...he's trying to figure out what i'm going to do, probably thinking im going to just play this out like last time no doubt, that seems to be like Akira...Always underestimating me, He's anticipating me to go on the pure offensive with no thought at all...That will be his undoing, I can use that fact against him and try to catch him off gaurd...

Zanzu grinned over at Akira and smirked, "Whatever you say isn't going to provoke me into rushing into your trap, why don't you come over here? the view is much better this way anyways." He smiled kindly at Akira then continued his analyzing. He wants me to move into range where he can easily get into my range, He wants to attack but knows he can't at that distance no matter how quickly he runs up at me, but I can't seem to figure out anything other then what I already know...oh well, never was as good at Akira as this anyways so why bother...suppose we play the waiting game now...

Akira just looked at his palm as he waited for something. Or so it would appear, he knew Zanzu wouldn't take the bait and was actually buying himself time. Heh, why try to figure out his tactics any longer they're obvious just throw throw throw, when I can just as easily trick him with my own tactics.

Akira just moved his left arm to take the incoming senbon as he pulled out three kunai with his right hand. He quickly threw all three of them towards Zanzu as he continued to think things through. Hey you want to kill him, I can help you with that. First all we have to do...shut up you damn.

Defenisve Action: Block (-2 damage)
Offensive Action: Throw Kunai X3 (11-1+1= 11 to hit, 2 damage per kunai, no crit)

Zanzu growled a little as he launched three senbon deflecting each of Akira's Kunai then let lose another 5 senbon from under his cloak. "Changing it up a little are we Akira? That isn't like you to do ranged attacks"...what're you planning to do?

Heh, I still have one big piece de resistance that I have yet to try, I technically have to get closer to hit it, but I want to be sure that I will hit it before I go for it. Since It'll take every ounce of chakra I have to peform it. Akira repeated his arm maneuver of that happenend not too long ago and once again threw three kunai towards Zanzu inching foward as if to move forward. This is all well and good, but you can't keep ignoring me, all I want is a little flesh a little blood, perhaps some nutmeg, saffron, salt and pepper in all the right places. Everything has eyes spread the blood on your arms on a kunai when he deflects it away the blood will spread all over and we can clealy cut it clean off, wouldn't that be nice? Shut UP! Damn, you really get annoying at times.
