The 11th squad quarters contains the offices for the ranking officers as well as the living quarters for those on the squad.

Bainin came to the front door of the building minutes after starting the 10 flashsteps it took him to get there. Tentativly he stretched out his hand, opened the door, and headed down the hall to his quarters.

In a flash of memory Kado decides to pull an old prank on the unknown shinagami. Kado gets right behind the unknown shinagami and taps him lightly on the shoulder. As the man in front of Kado turns, Kado folds space and time and Chronos Steps to the other side of the door. Kado awaits the reaction of the shinagami to seeing the remnants of the Chronos Step and the real Kado in the doorway.

Bainin put his hand on his zampakato and slid the blade partially out. He spun around and saw a strange distortion and someone standing in the door way.

"Howdy, I see you remember your training. The name is Kado, I'm new here." Kado then leans with his shoulder against the door jam not showing any few to the unknown shinagami. "What's your name?" Kado looks him over now that a good look and be attained.

Bainin kept his hand on his zampakato and stared at Kado with his unblinking gaze. "My name is Bainin" he said with no emotion in his voice.

Adjusting his blades so as to not cut into the door, Kado steps out of the room into the hall. "Your mighty boring Bainin, and easy to follow. What is there to do in this place? I'm new to these here parts." Kado runs a hand through his hair feeling how soft it is and awaits a response, still as bored as ever.

"Aye, put your blade away. Your the first person I've seen since I got here." Kado looks Bainin over trying to get an idea of his abilities. "So what can you do?" Kado continues to lean against the door, running the hand of his pinned arm up and down the length of the blade on the other arm.

Kado presses his fingers against his blade hard enough to draw a thin line of bright red blood. As the blood slides along the silvery edge of the blade Kado says to Bainin, "It never hurts to ask." Kado then looks at Bainin, his eyes morphing the colors in them swirling around each other.

Banin looked at his eyes and smiled "Very scary" he said in a sarcastic tone. With that he flashstepped past him through the door "Cya later budy".
