this summer I'm spending almost 100% of my time camping in the middle of no where. Its going to be so much fun, but then I realized, that means no fencing all summer. I'm getting worried that I might forget a lot of things I've learned. Could someone give me advice on what I could do over the summer to prevent myself from falling behind when I can't fence anyone?

Well this summer I had to quit fencing due to flight training and Air Force obligation. razz Graagh.
I can only suggest that you keep sharp with your footwork. If you ever have extra time or your just standing around waiting for something, just advance/retreat/lunge/flunge/whatever. You'll be sharper than you would be just not doing anything. And make sure your fencing muscles don't atrophy! Stay in shape!

Always run through your footwork at least twice a week. If u r a saberist u can practice cuts with just your grip. Get a large pillow or something like that and use it as target practice. Conditioning is always important.

There are accually quite a few people that don't fence in the summer due to the heat and school being out. I play football during the summer, and you'll probably just pick it right back off where you started in about a week or 2.
