For me, I take up a whole class of math doodling. I sit in the back, turn up my iPod, grab a sheet of paper, and start to draw randomly.
While doodling, I actually discover my different talents at drawing, and it can help me sometimes come up with a lot of good ideas that start better drawings, or inspiration for one. It also makes for interesting looking homework and notes! =D xD Just yesterday, I actually discovered I can draw hands biggrin
So anyhow, I ask you these questions:
Do YOU doodle?
do you think doodling is good or bad?
What class(es) do you like to doodle in?
Does doodling help you as it does for me?
What do you generally draw while doodling?
Am I the only one who thinks the word "doodle" sounds REALLY funny after reading this?

I doodle in pretty much every class. xD
Doesn't matter which one. Whenever I'm bored, I draw.
Usually it's just my OCs or whatnot. x3
But I did draw up an entire comic strip once when I was bored at home.

Haha, nice. Another doodle of mine turned into a big drawing. xD But im not done yet. >,<
Its my hand, white with black nails, over a sea of rainbows and swirly rainbow designs. Ohyeah. the most random drawing ever. cool XD

Also... can we have make-up secks?
I doodle... all the time. Except when I get home. Funny how the one place where I should be drawing, I don't do it. I do it at work, school whatever, just not at home. Usually I draw people, since I'm such a freak for anatomy, I try to work on drawing human proportions without models. Since I've doodled like no other since fifth grade, I have improved tremendously and learned new skills and techniques. Fifth and sixth grade were about the same level, some improvement when I was in seventh and then there's this huge gap between seventh and eighth. Eighth grade was when I started getting more realistic, more correct in proportions and more defined in style. I like looking back at old doodles, it makes me feel good about myself, because I think everything I draw is a piece of s**t.
Summers... I'm up at three am drawing comics. I'm a night person, so it ends up being me going to bed at sunrise and then getting up at one in the afternoon. Eat and run the rest of the day and run at midnight to one or two am, come back and draw. (ILLEGAL. Lawlz.)
I love summer, save for the ridiculous heat. However... jobs have now ruined such summers for me. NOOOOOO.

Ughn. I doodle. In math [ I mostly write in math and history] and science. My L.A teach is a nazi for drawing. D<
I draw with SHARPIE in my 'bleh'sketchbook. I do a lot of abstracty stuffff..
And..doodle about funny things my friends say. LOLs.

I don't doodle as much as I used to.
Maybe that's because I'm in college now and do want to waste my money.
xD
I doodled a lot in high school.
Mainly because I didn't have to study while still passing with A's.
I'm glad for doodling.
I credit it to letting me be better at proportions.

Every class and at two of my jobs. The third job is outside so I can't really do much. xD
Some of my doodles are random, some relate to the stuff I'm learning, which helps with notes, and most of them are about happenings or places in the world.

In science class, that's the best time to doodle. Whenever we correct tests, I end up doing this large, elaborate drawing on the person's paper. People have actually saved their worst tests just because they liked what I drew on them.
