No offence, but I don't get that couple. Can some one tell me why they should be together? Do they have some kind of background? Or is it just a "Hot" couple?

It is basically like this...either one sakura is captured by akatsuki to get at Naruto or two sakura goes to itachi for help getting sasuke back. those are the two things behind it. she can also heal his eyes and they're just cute together.

Well...I won't deny it. I love it mainly cuz is one of the hottest pairings I've ever seen. xD
Besides that, I think Itachi and Sakura can balance each other very well. Itachi is cold and mysterious while Sakura is warm and sensible. Sakura can teach Itachi what it means to love someone and to care for someone other than himself and he can teach her to not have prejudice over him. Since she holds a grudge over what he did and yet she doesn't know him fully. They can both counterweight each other's personality and character in a way that makes them a good couple.

I have to agree with everyone else.... 3nodding I realy have nothing else to contribute that I can think of right now... They make a good couple for the many reasons explained...
