these bands are not in order because i hate them all equally biggrin
1. Fall Out Boy
2. Red Jumpsuit Apperatus or how ever its spelled
3. Panic @ the Disco
4. Death Cab for Cutie
5. Good Charlotte
6. Green Day
7. My Chemical Romance >>ONLY ONE SONG IS GOOD
8. Gym Class Heros
9. Taking Back Sunday
10. the academy is...
11. All American Rejects
12. Hinder
13. Chris Dourghty or the guy that sings that "its not over" song
14. From First to Last
15. Hawthorne Heights
16. Breaking Benjamin
17. Linkin Park......its getting annoying
18. and all those other bands that little 12 year olds think are "hard core"
Im not pressing my opinions on others or anything...
i just wanna know wut others have to say about it

Now I have to fight for Green Day. They've belted out some good stuff before, becuase even American Idiot was kind of cool for a time, before people played it to the point where I couldn't stand it. But albums like Nimrod and Dookie had some really great stuff. Seriously, the song "Longview" god that's got a great bassline, and who doesn't love a song about masturbation?
As for the other bands I can't say much becuase I don't listen to them... and I know quite a few 12 year olds who think Ozzy Osbourne is hard core... which he is... beyond even... like to the moon beyond... yeah... go Ozzy.

I've heard a few of those bands on the radio. Most of them sound all the same to me. Haha. sweatdrop I don't care for most, though Linkin Park is pretty good in my opinion.

Hey. Emo they may be, but I somewhat like them. I've never seen such artful music videos in the styles they choose.

Nope. I enjoy Green Day. Mostly because I've been listening to them for ten years, but partially because Billie Joe is what, 45? And he's still releasing records. That kicks a**.

I agree ... even though I don't really listen to them anymore. And I used to like Linkin Park until they released Minutes to Midnight. Now they totally suck.

Most of what you listed is emo-esk. So I have to agree. Once a band gets radio friendly they begin to suck. It's a catch 22 really.
And most of 'em sound nothing like grunge.
