Greetings fellow Ministry of Magic members,
Hope everyone has heard the fantastic news: Jo has given the okay for the Harry Potter Theme Park!!!! WOOO! biggrin (story link is below)
I think this calls for a Ministry wide field trip to Florida in 2009! Who's with me??

eek You have GOT to be kidding me. I mean, in theory it sounds really cool, and I wouldn't be above going there myself, but it could end up being a total "Nerdsville". I don't know. I guess we'll have to wait a couple of years and see how things go, huh?

Hooray! I love theme parks... and a Harry Potter immersive one would be TOTALLY awesome. Now, all I have to do is find the time and money to some how fly myself over to America crying

I saw that! I love how it definitely looks like there is a roller coaster! Dunno how they're going to work that into the theme, but I do love my roller coasters. Hogsmeade looks like it will be so much fun! I think it's a good idea that they included it.

what kind of rides do you think they will have?

mugglecast talked about hogwarts being a kind of walkthrough area.

I wish I could go but honestly I don't think I'll ever make it down to Florida. Mind you, I could drive but that would take forever!

well, i'm in miami now... so that's four hours... 2009 i'll be in gainesville... so thats like a hour and a half... or shorter...
