Hey guys! I've entered 3 animated films for the Gaia Online Film Festival:

Lessons learned/reminded of:

Lay dialogue track down first before any animation work.

Run a storyboard with the sound (as in, a slideshow with individual/unanimated pictures with the dialogue soundtrack) to make sure the animation you're thinking of doing for the scene will work for you before you invest the time in the actual animation work.

For avatars talking, you essentially only need the "Ah" "Eh" "EE" "O" "Oo" and "M" lip formation pictures. Use layers for these mouth formations so that they're movable and re-usable.

I blame it on not having a mic and only paint to work with >.<
