According to the Atlus website it's being released "summer 2007" (yeah right). Anyone else excited for it? Or perhaps dreading it?
Personally, I can't wait. The Persona 3 trailers were what got me into megaten in the first place... odd I know.

I pre-ordered it in April, so I'd get the free soundtrack and artbox. But the other day I went to Gamestop and the guy working there (who was another SMT fan) said the game might not come out untill fall. gonk

I heard (from my friend who works at EB) that it's supposed to be released June 25.
WHAT HAPPENED. WHERE'S MY COPY.
Edit: Nevermind. Turns out it's july.

But given a choice between a low quality art book, or a high quality art book and a week of wait...I'll take the high quality art book.

it is a lovley game with addictive gameplay both in the traditional fusion and aquisition aspects so familiar to SMT Fans..... and in the sense that its social simulation aspects are actually enjoyable and rewarding

I think it's an awesome game and really fun with addictive gameplay, especially bringing back the fusion system that's so familiar for fans of the whole series.
However, I'm kinda disapointed it wasn't as much of a simulation as I thought it would be. I thought we would be able to make our own choices during school and not just afterwards. Like for example, we could've had the choice of who we want to talk to while we're walking to the next class, or to skip class entirely and do our own thing lol. But instead, the game skips through the school day like nothing ever happened (except for particular storyline moments, when a teacher calls on you, or if you decide to stay awake or fall asleep in certain areas) rolleyes
I was also disapointed that we can only do one single thing each day after school and it suddenly becomes night time and we're forced to head back to the dorm. I never thought drinking a cup of coffee or eating out at a restaurant would take the whole entire afternoon lol. When I read about the simulation aspects, I just thought there was going to be actual time progression as you walk around and do social links instead of doing one thing and it's immediately night time.
Other than that, it's still a great game that's part of a great series with addictive gameplay and has some interesting music too :p.

the reason they did that is so you cant max out all your social links or stats in the frist 3 months it will the take the entire game

yeah it was designed that way to ensure you had to work towards maxing your social links
in fact to max all of your social links in one playthrough is insanley difficult and requires a great deal of planning

Not entirely sure who I'm going to max yet except for Star and Lucifer. I might go for Strength, and Chariot, because it has a persona named Thor (how cool is that?!)

i love yukari so i maxed out her i got kenji ( Magician) and who ever is chariot the sports guy but i got like 3 months left on the game so i cant get much more
