well, i assume the item normally leaves one HP left if your pokemon was at full heath. so one hit ko attacks, and attacks that would otherwise do enough damage to faint a pokemon in a single hit, leave one HP left. has anyone tried using this with shedinja? it's become immune to direct attacks, and you'd have to poison, burn, confuse, or use wheather effects to faint it. that might actually make shedinja useable!

thing is, if it works like focus band, it won't ALWAYS work. But yeah, it did work at 1hp...never tried using it on a shedininja though.

It does work at times. It's great too, meaning 90% of the time supereffectives hit, and only poison, sandstorm, burn, confuse and struggle kill it.

Mystery Wolf thing is, if it works like focus band, it won't ALWAYS work. But yeah, it did work at 1hp...never tried using it on a shedininja though. My under standing whas that it ONLY worked when you were at full hp, and always worked in that case. so things like horn drill or a 4X weakness would leave 1 hp instead of instantly fainting. I'm not clear on waht you're talking about fatal Crescent. rephrase please.

Other than that, instant kills for Sheddy are: Sandstorm Hail Burn Confuse Poison Take note that these don't trigger the Focus item. just to be sure, you aren't assuming both focus items have the same effect are you? the effect of the focus band is that it MIGHT have one HP left after an attack that would otherwise faint it. the focus sash's description doesn't have any indication of chance in the description. it simply says "prevents a pokemon from faining when HP is full." given the full hp requirement, i'd assume it ALWAYS works when that condition is met, otherwise i'ts one of the the crappiest items ever, or at least it should have a MUCH higher sucsess rate. think i'll try it out myself when i get a focus sash. at least it'd take out it's vunerability to direct attacks. all the status ailments and wheather one hit ko's would stay, but stuff like air ace and faint attack alone make shedinja unuseable. they're fairly standard attacks, and no amount of double team will even buy you an extra turn.

It does, untill shedinja eats the focus sash. I tried, it and lost the sash.
Sadly the people I play lax with don't use weather effec ts, ad a nice shedinja with sash, would have wiped everything.
