Sorry about the title, I wanted to go all Master Shake on my forum.
But things aren't forbidden. Posting is good.
If you have an RP discussion you want to start, or a thread you think should be all up ons this subforum, post away. You're more than welcome to. I'm not going to murder any threads here, so long as they follow some guidelines:
1) They have to fall inside Gaia's normal posting rules. Look up the Gaia
rules and the
TOS if you're not sure if your post or thread will fit under these rules.
2) It's about role playing. I don't care if it's story, lore, character sheet, RP thread...it doesn't matter, so long as it's got something to do with RP. I loves the RP. Non-RP threads will be moved to a more appropriate subforum (or the main forum).
3) If you start an RP thread, I just ask that it have some structure and layout to it. You don't have to go nuts and do like, 65 posts of rules, who's playing and world descriptions. You don't need special banners and graphics. You do need a basic idea, at least, for what's going to happen in your little corner of the RP universe. A tiny backstory is all I ask, even for freeform stuff.
4) If you're involved in an RP thread, or if you're running one, please keep in mind that God-Mode RPing is for sissies who can't write their way out of a jam. There will be no God-Moding. At all. God-Moders will be spanked, and not in a pleasant way.
5) You do NOT have to ask me to start an RP. Just go ahead and start it. If you think you can handle more than one and not have the quality of them drop off, go for it. Just remember that all previous rules apply, as well as any others that may come up.
3nodding More guidelines may be added, if necessary, but I like to think that's more than enough for people to understand how things work.
