Step 1 remove the side of the case by unscrewing the screws the particular one I have has 1 thumbscrew some have 2 phillips head screws and some cases have to have screws all around them taken out so do what you need to do ( i have recently added this I have worked on a newer dell and it has latch/clips or something like that but if you're going to start working on a pc you should be able to figure this out). Step 2:Look to see if any cables are blocking you from easily accessing the memory port in my case the power cable(circled in red) to the motherboard is in the way (my power supply had a 2nd part that is unneeded for mine but i circled it to show that the 2 cables are connected) so unplug them and get them out of the way User Image

Step 3: Unclick the white memory clips there are two (its circled in red) but i could only fit one in the picture if you are adding memory then go to step four but if you are replacing memory now is the time the old stick will slide right out of its slot. now go to step four. User Image

Step four: Insert the stick of memory into the slot(be extremely careful the memory only goes in one way one side of the connectors is longer than the other) so now that you know what way to put it in insert it into the slot and when feel some resistance slightly push on each end of the stick (scribbled in red) And it should pop in (you will hear a click).

Step Five: Once you have it in replace the cables if you removed any and replace the side of the case. Then you're done
