I must say, it's far more interesting when you're surrounded by people throwing things and yelling. The actors on the floor miming the film really add a special something as well; I loved the little raunchy innuendos they threw in there that weren't in the actual film. The organized yelling was hysterically funny; great stuff, I tells ya. heart
In short, it was the experience of a lifetime. But enough about that. wink
-What was your first RHPS experience like?
-Did any virgins get pulled up on stage?
-Did they do anything particularly eye-catching at this show?
-What's the most memorable thing that has happened to you at a midnight showing?
Just curious. I wanna go to the late night double-feature picture show. cool

There aren't any theatres that show Rocky where I live; the last theatre stopped showing it last October, just before I got into it. crying (But I hope to see it with my best friend when we go to NYC this summer.)
Because of this, me and a couple of friends in the RHPS cult are planning to make our OWN midnight showing...in my living room. xP We're going to learn the audience lines, get props, and dress up (sort of). It's gonna be hilarious.

Well here in Tampa we have a showing every Halloween weekend,
I try to go every year ((missed last year crying )),I was about 14 the first time I went and yes I had to get up on stage with like ten other "Virgins".
I have also been pulled on stage for a Costume contest,I was dressed as Alex from a Clockwork Orange,((my favorite /most accurate costume I have ever wore to Rocky)) I lost to a girl who flashed her breasts but I wasn't mad I still got to meet Sal Piro and of course I got to yell out Slut and a*****e all night and stupid stuff like,((Michael Rennie was there the day the earth stood still but he told us where we stand ))"On our Feet" Which that in itself is enough reason to go every year.

My first time was durring Cinco De Mio. *Spell Check, please? The 5th of May*
It wasn't too too flashy...I was in a group of, like, 4 other virgins (three, including me, dressed up well enough that the people at the front thought we were regulars...). They made us go up and do the pelvic-thrust of the time warp.
There was one person that was really, REALLY bouncy. And she, as well as soem others, were chosen to do a sexy "mexican hat dance." None of our group got up to do it though.
Later on, before the showing started, they did a special date-rape skit to music, where a dude date raped a girl and then was sent to jail where he was raped up the behind.
And, since it was one of the crew's brithday (they called him "gimpy" because he walked with a cane), they gave him b-day spankings.
>.< My only problem: The theatre that we went to wouldn't allow us to bring our own props. They wouldn't allow anythign to be thrown, either, which sucked big time. Plus, most of the cast were girls, so Frank and Brad had boobs.

i can quote this movie line by line, i know many different versions of audience participation (+ some i made up), i have dressed up like characters, i have taught people the time warp, yet sadly, i am still technically a virgin. there is nowhere even remotley close to my town that does midnight showings T.T

OOoooh....That sucks.
I was near your point before I "lost my virginity." I could site lines (my friend and I (he dressed as Brad, I dressed as Janet from the floor show) even made cracks from the movie (Mousekateer Rolecall in the middle of class, whenever anyone would say "Anticipation," we'd do the line form RHPS....we taught some people to timewarp, even!)
Earlier that day I had seen the cast in a gay-pride parade, too, so I thought, "Maybe I could go today!"
And I did. Lol.

haha sweet! i found out that my friend's family used to own a theater in town that showed rocky up until i was about four, but of course i wouldn't have known about it then.
although earlier this year, a group of us watched it on a friend's bigscreen. it was right after a school play, so we were all sort of dressed like dr. seuss characters XD ( i was actually wearing fishnets, so it worked out ;] ) it was sort of like seeing it at a theater (we knew most of the lines already) but i'm sure it doesn't compare with the real thing.
on a side note, i've noticed several people from the queen guild hanging around here -- great minds think alike eh? ;]

i was devirginized 2 years ago?...my best friend and i were both virgins and had 3 other people in our group. the procedure for virgins in our troupe (go midnight insanity!!) is to make them grab themselves in various places wink then dry hump them in the a**. great stuff. my friend and i were grabbing our ankles hoping we didn't fall over xp

I live on the east coast of Florida, so I have no clue where one might be. How do you find out?
Also on the Dvd it shows scenes from the theatre viewings, and I like how Janet and Brad are in the car when it's raining and I can't remember exactly what he said but everybody shouted "a*****e!" it was really funny. And of course the squirt guns, insane costumes, giant hair wigs....I SO want to go!!!

My first midnight show was in NYC. I love them! Anyways the crowd was great and the cast had a preshow performance from Ave Q. My fiance and a bunch of friends used to be in a cast so I already knew all the lines.
Virgins had to fake an orgasm in front of everyone. This was great. Another friend of mine was horrible at it. It made me question his real virginity. lol

Well if anyone is around.....
.... I was sacrificed on mothers day during a RHPS midnight show. It was the best. Awesome troupe! Beyond friendly!!
I saw some people posted from FL about not knowing where to find a live midnight show. If anyone is within reach of Orlando They have one on the second and forth weekends of the month at the Universal Citywalk movie theater. They have other events too. Troupe name is the Rich Weirdo's.
Also google RHPS for live shows. The troupe has their own website too.

Oh man, I barely remember my first show. It was like a year and a half ago and I've been to the show like 30 times since then XD
But I remember it was insanely fun. When I first went I had absolutely NO IDEA what the hell Rocky Horror was. I had never heard of it. But I totally fell in love with it after that. Cue the obsession!
Lemme think...... that was a halloween show, and I remember for the sacrifice we all went up and said the virgin oath, like usual. Umm... I don't remember what else they did for the sacrifice though.

Ooh, I like that question. That one makes me smile. Although I'm not sure I can answer with just one thing...

The night I completely ditched the show and went swimming at Tiny's?
To many shows! I can't remember them all! Ack!
