Huh, he'd heard a lot of nonsense as of late - between being accused of being the father of someone's foals as well as his little meeting with a certain Queen of Thieves...According to the news on the wind, there was much romance in the air, much play and while he didn't mind that there was one tiny issue that did grate on his nerves.
It involved his sister.
Actually, it involved his sister and a certain stallion.
Ah yes, Biscuit was perfectly happy to charm the backside off a mare but if he so much as sensed another tempting to woo either of his sister's he automatically became the protective brother. It was somewhat hypocritical but family was family, he would fight to protect them, especially from something that could hurt them.
Thus, it was with a frown and soft protest that Biscuit received the news and there was no chance in hell he was going to let that stallion near his sister. He knew what they were like, he was a stallion after all!

*Time for a break, or what he figured anyways, he had to clear his mind. Try and calm his still shaking nerves that never seemed to ease even after the nervous moment had passed and he had gifted Tsaluyi with the bell his mother had given him to do whatever with. His eyes watching the ground as the silver colored stallion was liking the near silence.*
"This will be good for the both of us." Andre muttered to himself as he stretched out his large wings and shaking them a little, lifting him off the ground a few inches before settling down again.
*There was almost a small bounce in Andre's steps as he thought of the happiness Tsa had shown him for some nights. He knew that he would never do anything to harm Tsa, in fact he was more then willing to fend for her honor and respect that he feels that should be gained in other ways then just words. Skipping a little he didn't even think about where he was going, nor of whom he would most likely bump into. Muck less bump into Tsaluyi's dear brother, the thought never crossed his mind...*

Well fancy that!
Biscuit's eyes flicked towards the wind approaching, apparently favouring a walk instead of a flight across the expanse, he had left himself open. Vulnerable, perfectly accessible to any grounded soquili who decided to converse with him - a little unfortunate for said Wind when he was just who this brother had been thinking of.
"YOU" He roared from his 'perch' on the small hillock near by, "I want a word with ye!" His accent returned as he flicked his tail against his hind quarters and flounced down the hillock in a surprisingly nimble fashion. Once settled on a flat surface once again, he began to move quickly towards the stallion in question...
Well, the stallion looked like the description he'd been provided with - he'd apologise if he'd gotten the wrong one.
"Yer the one who's been charmin' me sister, aren't ye?"

*Well that was enough to nearly send Andre sprawling out upon the ground like a frightened feline that had been pushed off its perch. His wings instantly fluffed out as if anticipating an attack from somewhere, his golden gaze looked about for the one that had shouted out at him. His long tail twitched behind him as he caught sight of the stallion whom had spoken.*
"And what if I am?" he asked not easing up on the defensive posture. "Does it really mean something to you?"
*Why was he suddenly defensive of who he was? Sure he was 'charming' Tsaluyi, but they had been friends since he had been in his basket. She was the one that took to him first. A hoof pawing at the ground gently, the feathers upon his wings had stared to smooth out a bit, but every muscle seemed taunt and ready to spring, in an effort to propel him straight up and out of any reach. Still for this ones sake, Andre was well determined to remain ground bound to hear what had to be said.*

"Aye it does." The stallion slowed to a lazy walk, his gaze somewhat hard as he observed the stallion. The response had been so incredibly defensive that Biscuit couldn't help but be suspicious. Any innocent stallion would have simply replied but this stallion appeared to be hiding something. Wings spread in preparation to run, Biscuit smelled a rat and he wasn't happy in the slightest.
This was the stallion? Oooh, he had been prepared to give a little benefit of the doubt but now it was on. There was no way in hell the wind was going to get out of his clutches until Biscuit was sure he wasn't going to harm his sister. If it turned out he did smell a rat, he'd just pluck out all the boys flight feathers!
"Who ye think ye be, claimin' me sister without gettin' the approval of 'er family first?" He growled, narrowing his eyes to mere slits at the 'suspicious' stallion, it hadn't really crossed his mind that he had petrified the poor male. Goodness, the manner he had approached had made it seem like he was about to attack but the protective brother hadn' really thought about that bit...

*Andre watched this stallion as he seemed to be doing the same. It appeared that neither wanted to give an inch toward each other, or that is what seemed to happen within Andre's mind. His wings easing up and folding back to his sides, though the feathers remained a bit ruffled, he tried to compose himself.*
"My name is Andre, Son of Shihab and Adelle. Tsaluyi and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. She happened upon me while I was still in my basket at my father's side." Andre explained to the best of his ability. "Though you all grew up before I even emerged, Tsaluyi and I remained friends. Now that I am grown, I have stronger feelings toward her. Esper doesn't seem to mind." He added pawing the ground again not really wanting to explain that much. "Still have a bad feeling about me being with Tsa?"

"Me mother is a hopeless romantic." As much as he loved his mother, Biscuit had a point. The mare seemed inclined to weep or coo at the slightest love story and she was bloody lucky that his father had wooed her as opposed to another. That being said, if he hadn't wooed her then Biscuit wouldn't be here so he was hardly going to protest the point.
"She be agreein' te anythin' that makes 'er sigh in appreciation." He gave a shake to relieve the tension in his limbs and came to a halt. The distance between them wasn't that much, but with neither prepared to give an inch they were going to be locked in a stalemate for the time being - or at least until one of them tried to do something potentially stupid to one another.
"So yeah, I got a couple of bad feelin's, fer a start -" He flashed a sly smirk, choosing to see just how 'proper' this stallion was, "'Ow's me dad feel about all this, eh?" He enquired smoothly.

*Andre had, had a feeling that Esper was the type to be a romantic, and she was really caring to what happened to her children, or so he gathered from their small meeting not too long back. Andre had to observe the stallion that stood not too far before him. He seemed the brotherly type, Andre was sure that he would do the same if someone were trying to 'charm' his own sister.*
"I have to say that I haven't meet your father yet." Andre stated giving a small shrug like motion. "And I know what you are doing, I would do the same for my sister if I knew of anyone 'charming' her. Test them to see if they were worthy of it. And I getting it? Or am I way off?" he asked raising a brow watching the stallion before him. "Plus, I don't really know you, Tsa hasn't really spoken of her family, let along her siblings...."
*The stallion before him looked somewhat familiar to him, well in colors anyways. He had never really met any of Tsa's family besides Esperanza, he knew not of Tsa's other sister or brother. A sigh escaped him silently as he wondered where this talk had vanished to with Tsa, then again he didn't say anything about his own family to her either. Figured it would come later on when things grew deeper. Ears twitching forward upon his head, Andre awaited to response from the said 'brother' of his love before him.*

Bing! His eyebrow shot up like a bullet when Andre informed him that Tsa had never mentioned her family. While Biscuit could see Tsa's reasoning (they were all mental) he also found it rather amusing that the topic had never come up before either. So, this stallion wanted to seek approval and yet the pair weren't trusting of one another to bring up the issue of lineage - after all, they would end up as family.
"Aye, ye hit it on the button." He confirmed as Andre made his assumptions, the smirk sliding easily onto his lips as he eyed the stallion. Fine, so his mother approved of the guy but Biscuit didn't, they hadn't even had that little 'heart to heart' talk. Now if the stallion had been interested in spending the rest of his days with his sister then surely he would have spoken about it.
By the gods, Biscuit had even spoken about it to Dani and he wasn't even mated to her (nor had he bedded her), it was hardly a difficult topic.
"Cannae say I'm impressed, 'specially if ye be wantin' te join a herd as big as our lot and ye dinnae who we are." He shook his head and released a snort, "Dinnae make tha' much of an effort, did ye?"

*Raising his head up to almost look down at the stallion he was speaking to, Andre's nostrils flared a bit as he snorted. Shaking his head he side stepped a little as if to walk past the opposing one.*
"That hasn't come up in our talk. She knows not of my family besides my father. So don't put it all upon me that I haven't asked. We have been catching up on what each other had been doing. Is that good enough for your rattled mind?" he asked snapping accidentally as lowered his head. "But I'm sure that would be the first thing you would speak of and ruin everything."
*Shaking his head, Andre looked forward again and stepped past the stallion. His long tail twitching behind him, the long ends acting like many small whips lashing at the air as he went, never really reaching his flank like his smaller tail had when he was but a colt. Ears twisted back, Andre was sought on just walking away before anything else was to annoy him further, though it didn't dent his feelings toward Tsaluyi, he would love her whether her brother wanted him to or not.*

Confidence, at last the over protective brother saw it come forward. While he wasn't wholly convinced by the excuse, it was about damn time that the stallion responded in an appropriate manner. Asking rhetorical questions and trying to use his own mother against him wasn't going to get him anywhere, rather, Andre would have to find an alternative means of convincing the brother he was worthy.
...After all, Biscuit was very close to his father and therefore rather influential in that regard.
"No, not really." Biscuit arched a brow at the question and then the words that came after, now they were curious words, what could the wind possibly mean by them? Not one to let something so curious lie, Biscuit shifted his weight and turned his head round to examine the stallion thoughtfully - eyes still critical, they weren't about to change any time soon.
"And what ye be meanin' by that, eh?"

*Andre had stopped and looked back at the stallion, his ears still back against his head. Soon looking forward again, away from him. It seemed that he was deep thought of what he meant before turning back around.*
"I guess that is something you will just have to find out on your own. But through the grape vines, I heard that you were going to be the father to a strange mare yourself." He smirked still unmoving. "But that is none of my business."
*Raising his head up, he tried clear his mind before opening his wings and taking to the air a little to only land again, it was good to stretch his wings every now and again. For Tsa he would walk the ground with her instead of soar in the skies. Folding his large wings back to his sides, Andre stepped ever forward away from Tsa's brother, wondering if he would act like that when his own sister found herself with someone.*
"Oh and so you know, I love Tsa with all my heart and I would rather die then see her harmed by another. I would even fight for her if given the chance to prove my worth." He shouted back.

Bing! His eyebrow shot up at the rumour expressed by Andre and a bemused twinkle seemed to flicker in his eyes. Now this was even news to him, rather amusing news and he simply shook his head. Perhaps it was 'chinese whispers' that had formulated the rumour and had caused it to develop into something more than it really was. After all, he had bedded a number of mares and was fairly certain he hadn't left any with that little predicament.
...They would have come to him if they had, he wasn't hard to approach.
Shaking the thoughts away from the front of his mind he flicked his gaze back towards the stallion who had become suitably more verbal in the last few moments. His comments had perhaps been an attempt to provoke Biscuit (albeit unsuccessfully) but it was the words after them, the loudest words that got the brother's attention.
"Ye prepared te prove it by other means, save fightin'?" He enquired curiously. Granted, he would have a little spar if needed but he wanted to see if the wind had enough wit to handle his sister as well.

*Turning to the side, Andre watched the stallion with a mild look of amusement, he would protect Tsa in any means possible, whether by fighting or whatever way was possible. Pawing at the ground he felt that this one was still challenging his will to be around Tsa.*
"I will protect her in any means possible." he stated with a nod.
*He knew not of how he would really protect her besides putting his own life on the line, but if there was a will, there would be a way that he would do it. If at least he and Tsa were long time friends and it just grew to be more then that, much more.*
"Let me ask you something. If you found a mare from the many you had slept with, how would you protect her?" He asked wondering of his ways of protecting a mare.
