While perusing the latest skins on Flying Legends, I came across a skin for the Avia B 534. Now this plane isn't even an AI aircraft in the game. Apparently a Slovakian team calling themselves "Letka 13" is trying to get Oleg Maddox to possibly do another update for IL-2 and add this one plane, among other things to the game.
It'd be interesting to fly this plane, but I don't see this project going wheels up, as it were.
I'll see if there's anything else I can find on it later. For now, I must retire for the evening.

I don't think Oleg is putting anymore time or effort into the IL2 series, since he is now working on the new engine and sim "Storm of War," which is due for Q4 of 2007. There have been a few third party addons for IL2, but only after his extensive review. We were lucky to even get the Pacific plane set since that was Ilya's (his developing partner) pet project.
One can only hope.
