It was 80 degrees out 2 days ago and yesterday it started snowing. It's boring and cold to lifeguard an outdoor pool on days like these. gonk

Oooo! I heard they make good money! And, why would the pool be open if the wather is as bad as you make it seem? Wouldn't Mr. Mayor do the right thing and send you all home? neutral

Mr. Mayor? *laughs* Mabe he would if there is someone like that in charge. I live in a resort area everything is privately owned and real posh. They pay lots of money to be up here and complain like crazy if something... say a pool, is closed for a silly reason like weather. We did finally close the pool but it took a lot of phone call to the big boss to get it done.
As for money... eh 9 bucks an hour isn't really that much.

9 bucks only? eek Where I live you can get 15 an hour as lifeguard exclaim

I don't get paid much but I get super low rent through the company. As long as I have a roof over my head and money for food I'm good.
