The man switched off his shortwave radio as he turned his attention back to the letter that lay on the table. His orders had arrived earlier that morning, in a sealed envelope, rushed to him, straight from the Bureau of Intelligence:

Quote:
Mr. Dyaer:

It has come to our attention that the creature known as "Gruumar" is now a threat to the general public of the Western Continent. As an ally of Sialis, the Northern Land would like to lend a hand in taking care of this nuisance. Whether or not this becomes public is still being debated. However, this much is clear: "Gruumar" has a potential to be a powerful weapon. Your objectives are as follows:

1. Determine if the Gruumar is as powerful as it seems.
2. Determine if the Gruumar is connected to the Sialis government.
3. Determine if the Gruumar can be captured.
4. Determine if the Sialis government has similar plans and, if so, hinder them.
5. If the Gruumar cannot be captured, destroy it. If unable, return to base immediately.

Signed,
General Emrys Truesilver

K'sahn ran his hand through his silver hair, "Well then, this is different. Ah well, if the General orders it..."

He tore the letter to shreds, then gathered the pieces up, as he exited his cramped quarters. Once outside, the spy walked over to the railing of the small ship and cast the letter to the winds.
