I doubt if i spelled it correctly...

My fighting company Is the hospitallers and, well, our company garber is kinda slow, so i am making my own, only instead of doing the standard black with a white maltese, i am quartering bothe the front and back black and white. Black and white, belted at the waist, then white and black. A Maltese will be on the top of the front, dominating above the belt like a hospitaller should, but it will be split so it is half black and half whit. The black half will be on the white of the tabard, the white on the black part of the tabard. I will post pics as i have them.

The first pic is as far as i have gotten with the new on. The other three are of the original companygarb.I bet you cant guess why we were sometime called smurfs rofl

my skill with a camera is not very good, so, the pics are less then they should be. The new garb being made for the company is exactly what hospitaller tabards should be. The original was actually a surcoat, but the company is switchin to tabards.

i do to, but the damn machine i was using died, so, thats as far as i will be getting for a while, 'cause i cant do a good job by hand...

I have tried everything that i could think of (including hitting the thing) but nothin worked. My friend is going to help me, next saturday after amtgard, i get to use his machine

the machine is like, five months old i think.

I bought the material to make my gambeson, so, i get to start work on that after i finish this.

i willpost pics, but rite now that would be a pile of black padded cloth and apile of white padded cloth

both the front and the back will be quarterd black and white. The neck and throat will be reverse of the color that they are touching(i.e. over the black top side of the shirt, the throat cover will be white, over the white it will be black, get it?).
