The guild has been cleaned out and those who want to stay are here! Now it's time to enjoy the cleaniness on FFF! Who knows, one lucky poster may even get a prize! (This is an RP Ball!) You enter a set of massive oak doors trimmed in gold and decorated with gold and silver garland. As you push open the doors, you take in a sharp breathe of the shear beauty of the room. Decorated in more of the garland, and gold and silver ballons about. The floors are shining crystal and the walls are glistening. All about are mirrors hanging on the walls. There are tables about the edge of the large circular room, each table is coverd in a white table cloth. The centerpeices are crystal vases with silver and gold ornamental flowers. Rinoa gently entered the ballroom ready to have fun with all of her friends. A long and grueling year was over and she was now free to have fun! Now if only she could find someone she knew....

Tifa walked in and looked around at all of the fabulous decor. "I always come under dressed for these things," she sighed to herself as she walked right back out the door. She headed towards the nearest formal wear store to buy herself a gown.

Rinoa watched the girl come in and then leave... "I wonder who she is going? Who is she anyway?" Rinoia ran over to the door to peek out and see if the girl was still in site. Much to her dismay she was not.... "Humph"

Reno entered the ballroom, much to anyone who knew hims surprise, his suit was buttoned completely, tucked in tightly, his coat was pressed, his hair was sleek and had its own personal shine. He looked at the fabulous decor in awe wondering if anybody he knew may have been in, or was already here. He noticed a lone girl, no older than 17 or 18, and decided to be friendly. He walked over to her with a welcoming smile, "Good evening. I felt it necessary to introduce myself to you because we are the only two here at the moment. I'm Reno, and you are...?" He outstretched a hand as he awaited her answer.

Rinoa took the man's hand and shook it. Then she stated "My name is Rinoa!" And shot him a smile and a wink. "My friends aren't here yet.... I can't wait to get Squall to dance again! But llisten they are striking up a song now! Come dance with me!" In her exuberance, Rinoa dragged Reno to the dance floor.

He was dragged to the dance floor by the excited young girl, "Fair enough I suppose, I may be a bit rusty, but I apologize ahead of time if you dislike the dance." He moved to the beat of the song and listened to it. He twirled her gently before pulling her back in with a smirk as they continued to dance, "Are you from here, or a different universe entirely as I am?"

"A different universe. Ever heard of Galbadia or Balamb? They are in the world I'm from." Rinoa smiled at his suave dance moves and was excited to find a motivated dance partner.

Reno blinked and a slight grimace came about his lips, "Galbada what, and Balamb? Never heard of them, I'm from a place called Midgar. I used to work for the president as an elite body guard, until the world as we knew it came crashing down upon us..." He twirled her again and listened to the dance music, but never missed a beat as he closed his eyes a little and hummed to the song. Strangely enough, he knew the song from quite some time ago when Midgar was in it's prime, maybe the Universe's weren't so different afterall.

Aerith entered the ballroom, her shoes were the only noise near her.
She was wearing a long red dress and her hair was falling around her shoulders in soft curls.
When she took a few steps to the center of the room, she saw someone familiar.
It was Reno, dancing with a girl she didn't know.
She gently waved to him, wondering if he'd see her.

Reno stopped dancing and waved to Aerith causally, then looked to Rinoa, "The pleasure was mine. Merci le dance." He bowed kindly and walked over to her with a grin, "It's about time I see a familiar face, how are you?"

Rinoa watched the nice man walk away to visit his friend. After he met up with her she walked over the the refreshment stand and grabbed a glass of punch. Turning toward the door, she waited to see if one of her friends would ever appear.

When Reno stood there, Aerith nodded and looked up at the redhead.
"Yeah, I guess so.Others should be coming soon too."
The woman who was dancing with the turk then came to greet her too, and Aerith did the same.
"Everything here is like...really nice.."she said, brushing a strand of chestnut brown hair aside, while she took a look around.

Reno stood staring at her in her dress, "Indeed it is, you look good tonight." He smiled and looked away from her a little, so he didn't look quite so stupid as he would if he was just looking at her with his mouth agape. Another slow song came on and he smiled, "May I?" He outstretched a welcoming hand as he offered a dance.
[I remember^_^ I'm just a sucker for dancing, and if a girl can dance, that's even better...none of the girls my age know how to do anything really...I've taught three girls how to 2-step with me in under 3 minutes though. YAY ME!!!]

Aerith blushed slightly and gave a friendly nod as she took the turk's hand.She gently took his hand and walked out with him on the dancefloor.
"So, why did you arrive here so soon?"the flower girl smiled and looked up to him.
Reno looked different today.At work he wore a suit too, but now he was really formal dressed.
It suited him.
