I'm bored. Lets see how much help people can be in stringing together the English monarchy. The catch: Thou mayst not use google or any referance sources! (it has to be off the top of your head. Which is why I know so little. ^_^) So get cracking. My lis (excuse the bastardization. And the King James sandwich):

Hank
Ed
Mary
Liz
Jim
Charles (Cromwell ^_^)
Charles
Jim
Will and Mary
Anne
George
George
George
Victoria (don't quote me on this one though.)

Also, random question: Favourite English monarchy line?

Me stupid. Because it's

George
George
George
George
Will
and then Victoria.

After Victoria it should go:

Edward VII
George V
Edward VIII
George VI
Then Elizabeth II

...That is if my memory serves me correctly. *Is going to be embarrassed if he's made a mistake, as he is English.*

And my favourite line is the Plantagenets

Charles II (Bonnie Prince Charlie)

Charles II was restored to the British throne in 1666 and died in 1685.
Bonnie Prince Charlie was someone else altogether - he was born in 1720. Grandson of James II, great nephew of Charles II, he rallied the Scots against the English, winning at Prestonpans in 1745 only to lose terribly, decimating the Clans at Culloden Field in 1746. He died in exile in 1788

I think yours is right. I never can remember how to spell the earlier monarchs. They have such unsual names. sweatdrop

As for my favorite. I love them all! mrgreen

My favorite line probably has to be the English Tudor line.

Henry VIII's definance of the Catholic Chruch really touched off violent history for the next centuries. I'm probably going to read some more on Queen Anne, Queen Elizabeth's doomed mother. And probably Edward too....
