She knew it was awkward sending a note to meet with her sisters husband. And any other kitsu would have thought this strange and unusual. However she knew nari trusted her and this was nothing more than a meeting to explain a few things. They had seen each other during a impromptu family reunion and she had neglected to explain things properly. This time she had to get it right. The garden was in full bloom and it was lovely this time of year. Glancing down at kestrel she smiled happily. Her little one sleeping beneath her wing. Glancing up she watched the stars wondering when remus would show up so they could talk.

It had always taken her by suprise how fast remus could appear. Though that was the wizard in him. She smiled and gave a polite bow of the head as she couldnt move at the moment. Aiden was on one side of her kestrel on the other. " im sorry to disturbe you from your evening activities" she stood slowly nudging both kits close to one another before pulling a blanket she had brought over them. " But ...i figured i should explain from the last time we had met. You looked rather confused that Obi-wan was no longer with me. "

" I thought we were to. As he did as well. " her eyes carried a far off look. " I dont expect acceptance from you remus. Though i want you to know of what happened so maybe that i can ease your mind that im taking the best care of your son that i can. " she smiled at aiden and kestrel who were now tangled up. Aidens older frame keeping the now floating kestrell closer to the ground. " I adore him i really do. " she laughed" theyre the best of friends. " she trailed off shaking her head slowly. " im changing the topic forgive me. " she looked up at the stars" Obiwan and i were what we thought were mates in every sense of the word. We spent our time together. Swore ourselves and in the end the only thing we realized was that we didnt truely love each other like we should have. I couldnt make him swear to be with me if there was a chance that someone out there could give him the love i couldnt. And he felt the same. We spoke to soon to be honest. His heart still belonged to someone he knew a long time ago. "

She laughed and smiled. " This is why i always said you were the perfect mate for Nari. You have to be as patient as you to be able to handle my dear sister. " she teased him and smiled. " It was very much a mutual split. We started by not spending as much time with one another. That time we did spend together was not always what it used to be either. We used to cuddle and talk and then it just became meditation and chats about friends." she paused for a moment to collect her thoughts. " See to understand completely i should explain that obiwan had someone he loved in his past. And he wont admit it but im fairly sure he still loves her. As time went on we went months without seeing each other. I used to hang out with a friend of mine named Yazoo and when he vanished i ended up meeting xigbar. And yes remus Xigbar IS my mate." she smiled at that watching her daughter who had now flopped on aiden. Aiden himself was snoring rather cutely. " He started out as a friend and slowly he became so much more to me. I felt horrid. Here i was sworn to someone else. And i refused to hide this from obi-wan. So i told him. And he admitted to me that things had changed on his end to."

She shook her head" I could tell by the look in your eyes remus. I never set out intending for this to happen. And there are times i feel like..." at this she sighed not wanting to voice her feelings. " I feel less because of what has happened but then i look at my mate and my son and my three daughters. And i dont regret it one bit. I never will. Because they are my lives now. " she smiled at him. " And im sure you as a father looking at that immense family of yours can say the same. That all the bad in the past will never outweight the happiness you have now. " She looked back at the sleeping and snoring cousins. " I want you to meet Xigbar. Ill be honest you either love him or you hate him theres no grey in between area. His daughter is just like him and i worried shed hurt aiden. But shes learning from him. Picking up the proper ways to act. "

" Nari said to me once that the past was good to remember so that we are not doomed to repeat it. " she smiled over at him. " and with a brood your size remus im suprised you have time to even think. Not that im complaining i adore all my neices and nephews. Im honored youd trust one of your children in my care." her attentio was turned however to the squeaky yawns coming from the children.


Aidan blinked and looked over seeing remus his tails wagged thumping heavily against the ground. " Dad!" He grinned standing and knocking kestrel over with an ooof.

Kestrel mearly glowered at aidan for the abrupt landing and twitched her ears floating over to her mothers head to watch the show.

Aidan stepped forward meeting his father and nuzzling against him. " I havnt seen you in so long!" he gave a smile to kestrel" This is my dad kestrel. " he said sitting back smiling proudly.

Kestrel regarded remus solemly for a moment and gave him a brief nod. " why are you wearing a scarf when its summer.." she asked plainly causing her mother to shake her head. She glanced down at her mom confused. Did she say something rude again?" What momma he is... "

aidan nodded shaking his very fluffy self gently." Aunt noko wears a full length kimono though i always wondered why. And im sorry i havnt visited often ive been helping with the two young in the house. Rufus has a young daughter and then kes here. " he said sheepishly.

Noko only laughed" Dont doubt your son remus youd be very proud of him. Hes amazing with little kits. "

Kestrel paused to look at her arm and leg socks. " Byrna has a coat like daddy!" she announced happily " and daddy wears clothes and so does Revelin and dahlia. I always wondered why aidan was naked. " she announced plainly hoping she wasnt being to rude.
