Honestly, ive only seen like dance vids people have made of GW. I dont know why i put this here, i guess its coz World of Warcrasft just successfully installed on my laptop for the third try in about a year. so im feeling very MMO-ish xd
If you've played it, is guild wars gewd?

I've played both WoW and Guild Wars. And let me say it this way...
I'm NEVER going back to WoW after playing Guild Wars.

It really is. I love the storyline of GW and also it has much much less lag. Or at least for me it does.

But there is sadly a few downfalls of guildwars
1). you need a a year old to new PC to play it
2). instead of putting out normal patches, to pay for its matience and engineers, it makes its patches into expansions
3). It's not owned by a company who, in modern times, terms and power managing, have the power some what equal to God
4). there are no murlocs
5). I don't think GW is hard-core on Guild vs. Guild, like Shadowbane was, for those that don't know, that game was hard core, still works, its free, and can be free since its owned by Ubisoft, another powerful G company.
6). World of Warcraft's story line comes after the WArcraft game series, play it for the full understaning of the game
Plus, the only people that switch are those that can't play
or started on a PvP server,and got ganked constantly.

AWWW guild wars and wow i played guildwars for a year first one not any of EXPANSIONS i had 3 20's and on wow i have a 69 blood elf pally
wow is in my choice better!

You see when a game puts out an more than one expansion a year, its dying
plus WoW has over 8 mill ppl to play with/against

Warcraft already has an established fan base. The games date back as far as computer gaming and still going strong. Guild wars doesn't have the development and the input Warcraft has been given.
Not to mention Blizzard has already created the most popular games on PC. Diablo and Starcraft. Warcraft III followed shortly after the Diablo expansion and it just got better.
So WOW isn't going anywhere.
