There is a topic about thing, or so I think, in the Desktop and Window manager sub-forum, but I can put up a little summary in there and link it to the topic.

never mind then, I keep forgetting that topic is in there, I have to look back on it every time I am looking at distros, and forget exactly where in the guild it is... but IDK for new people it might be nice for it to be in this section so they don't ahve to scurry the site to find it.

It's easy to remember the difference between KDE and Gnome...
Things represented by 3 and 4 letter acronyms have always sucked smile
DHS, FAA, BSA, RIAA, MPAA, BSD *ducks*, GOP, etc...

LOL I used to be a strait up KDE user until the KDE Team slaughtered it with KDE 4 now I just use Gnome and Xfce and I'm happy with Both of Them

This might be a stupid one - but how do you get flash onto Ubuntu? I've tried ten different sites telling me to do it at least three different ways, but it's not working out. I figured I'd ask here - I really am a dummy when it comes to Linux.

FIrst make sure you have the non-free/non-open source repo enabled and run in the command line apt-get update apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree Or you can GUI their GUI, what ever it is called, and just search for it.
