Hawthorne Heights has got to be one of the coolest bands I've heard in a while. Everything consists on "woe is me" type lyrics. Hawthorne Heights has that touch, but not as strong or not as weak. I think that they are going to be looked back on as one of the greatest of '05!

I Just bought their new CD and I can't get enough of it! I think I've been brainwashed... eek confused

I like Hawthorne Heights.
Although, sometimes I get sick of the emo-ness of certain bands.
I'd have to say that "Ohio is for Lovers" is one of my favorites.
But half of the others, I can't remember the names to.

alright i must say my 2 favorite Hawthorne songs are.. Dissolve and Decay...(just the first part though) and Silver Bullet. mmmmmmmmmmmm i just drool listening

I used to love them, I still do like them.... but it's kinda annoying how they kinda gotten out into the mainstream, which is okay -->... but it causes people to get the wrong idea of "emo".
and this causes people to make fun of the lyrics, and being all smartmouthy and like "OMGZ CUT MY WRISTZ N BLACK MY EYEZ LOLZZZZZ CUZ I'M EMO, HAHA HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS SUCK N SO DO "EMO" BANDS"...
It pisses me off. I mean if they don't like the band, then just stfu. stressed

Sorry fans but I just don't find the appeal... as someone already said, the band isn't big at all in Australia and personally I don't see that changing. Their song lyrics are pretty generic by modern standards and well... I just personally find them boring.

Okay, I tried to get into them, I really did, I listened to their entire album but I just didn't like it. I went to their show last week when they came here (I didn't go for them, I went for Story Of The Year, Anberlin and Halifax) and I must say I was very disappointed. Their set was pretty boring, lacked audience interest and EVERY SONG SOUNDED THE SAME. Seriously.
They're just... not my thing I guess.
