These are the basic rules at the moment. They may change depending on if the need to revise them arises or not, but they should essentially remain the same. Not everything is included, however, because we are sure that you are ableminded enough to use your head when the situations arise, and you have prior knowledge of RPing.

~Keep it PG-13.
An added note from Chupi the Terrible: Look, I really don't care if you think your characters need to be sexual, this is a PG-13 site and I will not have the threads here being cluttered up with descriptions on how a digidestined might get raped by a Myotismon or whatever. confused If you really need to act out a sexual scene between characters, take it to PMs or IMs, leave it out of the forums... (This rule has been modified due to noticing a current trend in Gaia's "literate" RPers. As you can see it doesn't actually change the rule any, but it does give some extra detail.)

~Romance of all kinds is allowed, but don't make an RP just revolve around it...

~Swearing is just fine, but try to use it sparingly. And do not by any means use it to insult any of the other RPers, but it is understood if your character becomes all kinds of messed up and blows up at another character... but still be respectful and use your brain to limit yourself.

~No serious racism... I can see it coming up in a character's personality and would let that slide, but as soon as it becomes serious, you're out of here. This isn't a baseball game--there aren't 3 strikes.

~Whenever you want to say something or make a comment that does not pertain to the RP at all, please put them in Out Of Character brackets.

OOC looks like this: ((your message here.))

For organization purposes, please only speak in OOC at either the very beginning or very end of your posts.

~The subforums labeled "Digital Epics: Series _" are pretty much ego trips for captain and crew. They are detailed RPs that basically rip off a lot of the concepts of a specific Digimon series and take its place as though it never happened. They are all-original RPs, and they are not mandatory to join... But they generally do seem to be the ones that survive the best.

~And last but not least... When an RP ends or is closed, PM a crew member saying so, so it can be locked and in some cases unstickied.

~Use some common courtesy when it comes to the fandom. You can say you enjoyed or disliked a show/game/whatever and give reasons why... But don't go insulting others over their own personal preferrences. And the guild is a literate Digimon one that is run by a guy who started out in the fandom as a little kid with the original virtual pets who evolved differently depending on how they were raised. If you say anything about "canon" evolutions based solely on what's seen in the shows, be ready for some trouble. Especially seeing as even if you don't want to count the vritual pets that the entire franchise stems from the original canon, the V-Tamer comics were heavily based on them and were the first series to stem from them, anyway. So they hold a higher place in what's what than the animes do. Wanna make Agumon go Greymon and the vaccine variant of MetalGreymon? No problem! But don't chew people out for making their's go Tyrannomon instead.
