Alright, so, I'm looking through all the forums and almost all the types that I enjoy most are mentioned except for...
MYSTEREH!
So, I only know of one author who does Mystery books and who makes his main characters gay... which is CHRISTOPHER RICE, the son of ANNE RICE. smile He's got three books out...
A Density of Souls***
Light Before Day
The Snow Garden
The reason why I star A Density of Souls is because it's my favorite... and it's not really a mystery. I guess it kind of is in some sense but it focuses more on the death of a four-way friendship where they were all best friends and one admits a secret and BAM, they all hate eachother. Something happens, someone's mudered, and that's what the story is about. It's really good and rather... depressing, if I do say so myself. I highly recommend it.
His other books, they're decent. I kept on reading. But his first novel was by far the best out of all of the other ones.

The Snow Garden was decent. It was the second novel of his that I read. :B I'll admit I was rather confused at the end... I had to read it a couple of times to fully understand what the hell was going on.

Lesbian mystry/thriller seems to be quite a big genre, I've read a couple, which were ok, but not memorable enough for me to remember names or who they were by. I think LGBT mystry is for people who read mystry anyway, which I tend not to.

There's an author who writes YA mysteries and his main character is gay.
At the moment, they aren't printed in an actual book, but they're available as ebooks, I believe. However, they will be published this November, with a third book out in 2009, I think.
The author's name is Josh Aterovis (www.myspace.com/joshaterovis) and the first two books are called Reap the Whirlwind and Bleeding Hearts. He's got a website, which might be www.joshaterovis.com , but I can't really remember, lol.
